Sunflower Bunk House @ortliebfarmhouse

KrystalRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a wonderful stay at The Sunflower Bunkhouse! Booked fairly last minute and that was no problem for my hosts. The bunkhouse was super cute & clean set back behind the farmhouse leaving a feeling of privacy, peacefulness, safety and security should anything arise. Even the composting outhouse was cute and smelled like you were walking through the forest. Did not have the opportunity to meet my hosts or the animals as I was out and about from sun-up till sun-down but I’ll catch them on my next adventure there! They showed great hospitality in their personalized touches alongside teas and snacks… what a nice touch❤️ and I loved the space heater!! Loved the beautiful surroundings, the perfect bunkhouse and awesome hosts… I will return!

Cabin #1 on a century old family farm

BellaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Very beautiful location and a very short drive from downtown Charlevoix. It took a few minutes of walking to get from Cabin 1 to the main cabin where we could charge our devices and use the bathroom, which we didn't mind too much since it was a short stay. If you'd enjoy a camping-like experience with a comfy bed and no bugs, this is a great place to stay! Carl was also super helpful and responsive :)

Cozy Lil Red Cabin; Water Frontage, Dog Friendly!

KimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

Colorful artsy cottage steps to Lake Michigan

DanaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a wonderful weekend getaway at The Dollhouse. It’s a charming little place, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from a beautiful nature preserve and the pristine dunes of Lake Michigan. Sunsets were awesome along the beach and there were hardly any other people when we were there (early June). Linda was a fantastic host, friendly and provided all the amenities we needed and more. It’s very close to downtown Charlevoix and a great spot to stay while exploring the area. I’d highly recommend!
