Gull Cottage, with views of Georges Bay, is the perfect peaceful place to unwind, explore, walk, fish, read, or just relax and enjoy. The house is exceptionally comfortable for short or longer stays and is perfect for couples or adults travelling together and exploring the east coast of Tasmania. It is large enough to offer everyone their own space. Not suitable for children and infants. St Helens is only a few minutes by car, and beautiful Bay of Fires and Binalong Bay are only a short drive.

Our beach shack is in North Binalong Bay, quite and surrounded by the Bay of Fires/larapuna. Less than a 5 minute walk to Baileys Beach, close to the mountain bike trails of Bay of Fires (10min) and St Helens (20min). The house was perfect for a lovely relaxing week away with a young family. The fully fenced backyard overlooking the reserve was a perfect backdrop to enjoy the peace and quiet of Scamander. We walked to the river each day, played on the large open space outside the back fence. The fireplace was a nice change of pace. Thanks for having us

I would give six stars (if I could) for our stay at Jan's place. It is a nicely updated and well furnished house perched on a hill that affords a scenic view of Binalong bay. We found the unit to be very clean and well provisioned for a five day stay. From the house, a five minute walk will get you to Binalong Beach where one can swim in tranlucent turquois water and walk along long white sand beach. Ten minute drive from the house will get you to downtown St. Helenes where great coffeeshops and restaurants abounds. We ate at many of these eateries and all were good to excellent. A bit longer scenic drive , may be 20 min from the house, will get you to a beautiful and friendly winery where one can sample seven different types of high qauality wines at 15 AUD per person. If you feel like splurging, buy a bottle of 2016 Pinot Noir and drink this elegant wine on the deck while watching the waves landing on the beach. Book this place and collect wondeful memories.

Slow River is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! The team’s attention to detail make this house so special and the stay extremely comfortable. We had 2 wonderful nights sleep and it was the perfect spot to lounge around in the sun or by the fire at night to read a book. I couldn’t recommend Slow River more and we will 100% be back!!
