Pet-friendly vacation rentals in St. George Island

I can’t begin to describe what an amazing beach house this was. It went above and beyond my expectations. I felt right at home as if it was my own. The distance to the beach was perfect. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. I was able to take my dog for a few mile long walks around the neighborhood. The sunsets are beautiful as well as the early morning breeze that blows through the screened in porch. The swing on the porch was big enough to sleep on. And if you are lucky you might even get to hear, see and feel the jets fly over heading towards or away from the near by Air Force base. But don’t worry you would hardly know the base was there unless you knew ahead of time. There are many restaurants and a cute little downtown. There is a lighthouse in town and even a Sea Turtle Center. I would definitely recommend Lourdes’ Pink Door Vacay and cannot wait to go there again soon.

We had a great stay here! Everything was exactly as described and our host always responded quickly! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The yard was perfect for our pup and we enjoyed the patio and grill. The beach was a short walk across the street, we couldn't have asked for more! We definitely recommend this space and would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at beach baby! Very roomy, nice kitchen with plenty of cookware and dishes, and the most comfy beds! House looks a little different from photos as they are in the process of updating. They’ve done a great job on the front porch and steps, as well as the back deck. The covered front porch and the partial cover back porch are perfect for cooling off from the sun or being outdoors when it rains. The only thing I missed was the screened in part for the front porch but it didn’t interfere with our stay. I’m sure that will be updated soon as well. You can tell they’ve put some love into this place. 😍

We loved our stay at The Corner Cottage. Tastefully decorated with everything we needed, we had a short stay but Richard provided all of the local info about where to go and what to do. Very cozy and comfortable.

This is the 2nd year that we stayed at The Spicy Pelican and we throughly enjoyed it. The balconies are superb and spacious. The house was clean and ready for us. Especially nice is that the owners have a large pantry off the kitchen in which there are spices, olive oil, and many things that might have been forgotten while packing. All I can say is that you cannot go wrong with The Spicy Pelican. It’s not right on the beach but it is so close that it really doesn’t matter. 5 star review!!

We have travelled to this area for years and this is by far the best house we have stayed at. Gorgeous house, plenty of space for our big family. We had a blast with the golf cart, E-bikes and video games. Beach chairs were in excellent condition. House was beautifully decorated. My only complaint is they made us leave , I could have stayed forever LOL . Even accommodated a late check out. Communication is top notch. We will definitely be repeat customers . Thanks Darin for the best Mother’s Day a mom could have.

My family are returned guest. This home feels like our home away from home! We love the area because it is quiet, not overly crowded, and not commercialized! Beautiful beach that allows you to have your pets vacation with you! You're allowed to have golf carts on the beach which is a great feature. Saved us numerous trips back and forth to set up for our beach day.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! we enjoyed every minute of our stay here! the setup is perfect for 3 couples or several families. the doggie door was an amazing surprise and such a great amenity thay allowed us to sleep in on vacation. the host was very responsive throughout our stay. it was a good location, just .5 miles from the beach. we walked everywhere with the pups and they loved it. Will definitely be back in the future!

The house was very convenient to alot of places and also fishing along shoreline is possible. Even with just some wading. The pool was nice as well. Our dogs also felt right at home.

You will not go wrong when choosing this booking. This was by far one of the best stays we have stayed in at the beach. This was our first time to stay in Mexico Beach and it did not disappoint! Very convenient to the beach and pool is just right around the corner. Zach was very responsive with any questions that I had m. We would definitely book this house again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt right at home and the kids enjoyed hitting the pool and heading to the beach. On the golf cart. This area is very quiet - a very different vibe than 30A. Kam’s place is the perfect respite to unplug and relax.

This place truly was perfect for a family vacation! Michelle is a wonderful host and her home is beautiful, clean and comfortable inside and out. If you’re looking for a private but close to everything place, this is it. Michelle was quick to respond and she took time to check in to make sure we had everything we needed. Jamie’s home in Windmark is immaculate! We loved the cleanliness and comfort of the beds. Chairs, toys, wagons and beach towels are provided which is so helpful when traveling long distances, less to pack! The in-law suite is huge, almost like a one bedroom apartment! Our grandparents were grateful for their own space to retreat. Theres no fridge in the suite but that wasn’t a big deal for us. Jamie is quick to respond and incredibly helpful. We would stay with her again! The golf cart was so fun, easy drive to the beautiful pools and the shops and restaurants. The only tip we have is that we learned gulf county beaches don’t get the seaweed cleaned up daily like Mexico beach does. So we didn’t use the beach in Windmark as it was small and covered in seaweed - it’s also where the bay begins so the water is less clear- But we drove to the clean white sand in Mexico beach, less than a 10 minute drive, and loved it! You won’t regret staying here!

This home was one of the best vacations we have taken as a family. Beautiful view of the bay especially in the mornings and evenings. It was breathtakingly peaceful! We had several children so the pool area was perfect for the littles especially since it is screened in. The older kids really enjoyed fishing off the kayaks and playing on the private beach! We even saw a dolphin. This home has EVERYTHING you need. Really all we needed to pack was clothes. The home was lovely and well kept. We are already planning a second trip! ♥️

This place was amazing! While we’re not Airbnb experts, this was by far my favorite place we’ve stayed. The place was much larger than I expected, and the community was very nice. The walk to the beach was a bit far in the heat, but there’s plenty of parking and no crowds, even on Memorial Day weekend. The place is stocked with almost everything you need, plus so much more! We will absolutely try and book this location next vacation!

We felt right at home staying at Palmer’s Airbnb. We enjoyed having the option to rent the golf cart to ride around town or ride us closer to the beach. The master bed was so comfortable. This Airbnb had everything you need for a beach day, including a wagon, chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. The neighborhood is so quiet and safe. We can’t wait to come back!

If you’re looking for a quiet beach getaway, this is absolutely the place to stay! Loved the area, lots of yummy food, peaceful/not crowded beach, plenty of space for all the family. The host was kind and quick to respond plus his guide was helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t have any issues with the house and hope to visit again in the future. Lovely vacation for myself, my sister and her child, my elderly mother, and my pup!! Also, the outdoor shower was fantastic in helping keep sand out of the house.

This place is conveniently located in downtown Apalachicola to shopping and local eateries. The place was clean and accommodating.

This luxury rental has it all!! We will be back to visit soon. The house is amazing. It was very clean both inside & outside the home. I am ocd when it comes to inspecting a rental for a stay for myself and my family. The beds were perfect with luxurious sheets and pillows. The towels for the shower were impressively large for a bath towel and you didn’t have to look hard to find more. There’s a grill that we used for a quick hamburger cookout for lunch one day. You are minutes from the island and close to all the fun things in Eastpoint & Apalachicola. There is so much rich history in the area like the Orman House & botanical garden we got to visit this trip because the house was so close. The host is a wealth of knowledge and gave us great recommendations that were spot on. They’ve also got a great binder in the front room with brochures for a great charter & all the places around you. I can’t say enough good things by about this place. Loved it & was sad to leave.

This is a beautiful house to stay in! It’s slightly more closer to other houses than we’re used to, but our neighbors were pleasant! The kitchen was spacious and we made so many good meals in it! There is plenty of space in the house to spread out if you start to get annoyed with your family! The shoreline is steps from the house, and there is only about a ten foot difference between high tide and low tide with a huge sandbar right in front of that stretch of the beach. The drive to groceries or restaurants isn’t far, especially compared to St. George Island. Choose this place for your next stay!

We had a great time on the boat! It was super private even being at the marina. The boat itself was beautiful and well stocked. It was a great layout and had everything you need. Brittany was an excellent host and super responsive. Great AirBnB

We had an exceptional experience at this beautiful home on Carrabelle Beach. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and had absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It’s clear that great care has been taken to create a private, peaceful retreat—perfect for anyone looking to unwind by the beach. The location is ideal, offering stunning views and direct access to the sand, yet it still feels wonderfully secluded. Inside, the home is tastefully decorated, fully equipped, and incredibly clean. You truly feel at home the moment you walk in. Paul was an outstanding host—communicative, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful with his accommodations. He made sure everything was seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a top-tier beach getaway in Carrabelle.

We loved the privacy and remoteness of this location. I never knew there were rural areas around the gulf. I’m from rural Tennessee, so this was a big plus for my family and I. We saw less than 10 people on the beach daily, but had access to great restaurants across the bridge in ten minutes. We had a pod of dolphins swim within feet of us too. We plan to reschedule soon.

Excellent location, amazing views of St. George bay and a couple of blocks away from the gulf. A true treasure of an area with minimal crowds and friendly folks. Quick response to any questions we had while there, within minutes. Sunsets, sunrises, and stars at night were unbelievable.
