Tolle Location. Wenn man eine Safari im Wilpattu National Park machen möchte wirklich perfekt! Das Personal ist super freundlich und bemüht und weiß sehr viel über Tiere und Pflanzen. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker und allgemein einfach tolle Stimmung! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely loved my stay. The location, albeit quite remote, is stunning and set up in a very spacious way so that privacy for all guests is ensured. Staff service is very professional, helpful and impeccable. The hosts offer lots of additional activities, like different walks or games, besides the obvious safaris. The safari was great, with a very knowledgeable guide and very tasty packed food. Food at the campsite is very decent with, again, an impeccable service. The tents are beyond comfortable, and not at all what I expected (being Dutch, camping generally means living in abject poverty by choice). All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Wirklich ein besonderes Erlebnis dort zu übernachten! Mit rauschenden wellen direkt bei den dünen einzuschlafen war wirklich toll! Das essen war super und das personal sehr zuvorkommend und hat und bei allen angelegenheiten weitergeholfen. Wir haben auch 2x die safari mi asela gemacht und waren begeistert von seinem wissen, wir hatten sogar glück und konnten an beiden tagen einen leoparden sehen, asela hat wirklich alles gegeben damit wir das beste safari erlebnis bekommen! Auch ein großes dankeschön an sukumal der und in der unterkunft jeden wunsch erfüllt hat!

We had a great stay. The name, Luxurious Tent, was so accurate. It was a super luxurious space for camping. Incredibly clean, comfortable, and practical. Who could have expected a hot shower after swimming or coming back from safari? My kids could not eat spicy food but the host arranged a special menu for us. We were lucky to see two leopards in one morning safari. It was a perfect experience toys us with young children. Thank you.

Het ontvangst was erg hartelijk. Bij aankomst was de tent nog niet gereed, vanwege het feit dat wij last-minute geboekt hadden. We kregen een drankje tijdens het wachten en een uitleg over de locatie m.b.t. mogelijkheden voor eten en excursies. Het personeel was super vriendelijk, de locatie was geweldig en het eten was ook voortreffelijk. Het feit dat wij vanaf deze locatie de safari in Wilpattu konden doen maakte het plaatje compleet. Een echte aanrader!

Great place to stay. the manager speaks good English but the waiters don't speak very good English. because of this we had 2 times the wrong food, but they gave us a free breakfast and our last day we got upgraded to a bigger tent. they shouldn't have done this but they did. very helpful staff and also some nice (free) activities to do

Great place to relax with a tasty buffet. Close to Udawalawa national park, with great drivers/guides. Shante was our driver, really nice man. Remember to bring mosquito repellent for being outside.

Great location, amazing waterfall, beautiful view, delicious traditional food and a nice family who was hosting us. Everything you wish for during your stay. Loved the small place in the middle of nature. I hope to come back some day!

We would give 6 starts if possible. Unforgivable experience of staying in a wild. Local dinner served in cozy atmosphere and then next day safari. So it was definitely worth it

Absolut einzigartige Unterkunft! Wer absolute Ruhe sucht ist hier genau rightig. Die sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Hütte liegt auf dem Hügel eines Berges inmitten von Teeplantagen. Der Ausblick von der eigenen Terrasse ist unglaublich. Man kann Kilometer in die Weite schauen! Die Terrasse verfügt sogar über einen eigenen kleinen Pool, in dem man sich wunderbar abkühlen kann. Ich empfehle die Unterkunft wärmstens, allerdings nur an diejenigen die die absolute Abgeschiedenheit suchen. Das Resort zu dem die Unterkunft gehört liegt 3km entfernt am Anfang des Hügels, von wo aus der netten Mitarbeiter 2x am Tag essen mit dem Tuk Tuk hochbringen (nicht inkludiert) War eine spannende Erfahrung. Danke a das nette Team!

Staying at Rukmal's little jungle heaven was amazing. He responded quickly, picked us up from town, arranged a great safari (for a good price) and gave us lots of tips on what to do in the area. The tent had a mattress fitting two people perfectly, and was one of our most comfortable stays in Sri Lanka. Thank you so much for being an amazing host and showing us how to play your board game! Would recomend this place to anyone.

Kleines gemütliches Camp (2 Zelte), das perfekt für eine Safari im Yala Nationalpark ist. Der Gastgeber war jederzeit erreichbar und hat die komplette Safari für uns organisiert. Das Essen in der Unterkunft war sehr lecker Würde es jederzeit empfehlen für eine Nacht und anschließende Safari morgens :)

The view was breathtaking and was such an amazing experience. The staff was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend Hideaway Destination camping, Ella. And would love to visit again.
