Would definitely return again to Faahim’s in a heartbeat. The Airbnb really felt like home and all the facilities for my family were great. Faahim and his father are so friendly and we really enjoyed the stay.

Hence you will need to relay on cabs each time you step out. This cost adds up (~ 900 LKR one way to Kandy town) * House located on Ground + 2nd floor. One has to take steps, since lift not available. Can be challenging if you are having any health limitations. Do note that luggage will be moved in a small lift, so it's just you who will have to walk up without carrying any load.

Absolutely incredible stay! We stayed here for 3 nights! Bryan’s place in Colombo exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos —if not better in person! It's impeccably clean, tastefully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony is a highlight—breathtaking cityscape that truly makes you feel like you're in the heart of Colombo. The natural light pouring in during the day, and the calming ambiance at night, created the perfect vibe whether I was relaxing or getting work done. Location-wise, it's fantastic—central, safe, and close to all major attractions, cafes, and convenience stores. Whether you're here for sightseeing, business, or a short stopover, this spot is a gem. He was responsive and genuinely invested in making my stay seamless. Would I come back? Absolutely. Highly recommend Bryan’s place to anyone visiting Colombo. 😀

My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks as we wanted a relaxing holiday to South Sri Lanka. We were very pleased with our stay. The apartment is in a fabulous location making it very easy to walk to breakfast/dinner and beach front bars in the evening. La belle on the doorstep of the place is great for sunset. Gianluca is a super friendly host, was very helpful, always responding quickly, he also arranged a bike for us for our stay which was very helpful. The apartment was cleaned regularly & we were provided with fresh shower & beach towels. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at the Banana Leaf Apartments was simply fantastic! The accommodation is quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. The apartment was very clean, stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you need. A huge thank you goes to Amila. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and always there for us when we had questions or requests. His cordiality and hospitality really made our stay special. You can feel that he cares about the well-being of his guests. Also a big thank you to Hannah for the loving communication and organization! We would come back anytime and can highly recommend this place.

nice enclosed private space, Thuruni was very clear and easy to communicate with. She also aided with anything extra you may need. the space has everything you need and can tell it's extremely well though through. there is a little bit of building work which they did point out but this is due to low season

Run by a nice family who is super communicative and they really make sure you have a good stay there, which we def did. The kitchen was very functional and the washing machine was nice for our stay. I was worried about WiFi as I’ve heard WiFi could be an issue in Sri Lanka, but once the host knew of the WiFi issue they quickly provided another one. As I was working remotely, I had no problems with internet. The hot water was strong and warm which was also nice. The host also said that in the future they will try to add more mosquito nets on the windows/doors. I also enjoy the location as I can take multiple walks to the beach and there are plenty of little local produce shops nearby. A lot more local and less touristy than the tourist strip nearby. I really enjoyed my stay- thank you to the host!

The treehouse is an amazing place to stay for exploring the south coast of Sri Lanka. The location is very private and enclosed but still close to the towns of Unawatuna and Galle. The treehouse itself was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and even have a BBQ! The pool was a great size and depth with a cool rope swing. The hosts were very helpful and attentive, with a very friendly doorman. We wish we could have stayed longer as this was the highlight of our trip.

We loved our stay! The garden and pool were terrific, the staff was very nice and the Place was super clean!

We loved staying at Shaun’s villa! Out of the eight places we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka, this was our favorite. The location, the villa, and being so close to the ocean was just what we needed. The villa was clean, well looked after, and felt really welcoming. Whenever we had a question, we got a quick and helpful reply, which made everything super easy. We also really liked the great food just across the street, which we could easily order to the villa. And being close to The Doctor’s House was a big plus – fun weekend market and tasty dinners in the evenings. We’re a family of four and felt super comfortable here. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back one day!

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

Thilan's place was as per description. Generous host, amazing breakfast, kind and very responsive on WA. Had everything ready when we reached. location is nice and breezy. View of Little Adam's Peak from the deck. Peaceful. The light inside the room is very dim. Had it been brighter, the small size of the room with so many things and no palce to keep bags would have felt less inconvenient. But overall loved the place, hospitality and the arrangement of tuk-tuk drivers when we needed - so didnt feel the difficulty of navigating in and out of the place which is quite inside. I would definitely saty there again and recommed to others, provided you dont mind climbing those stairs to reach the room, some may find the narrow steps a bit scary.

I had a fantastic stay at Green Leaf Apartment! Everything was perfect. The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as shown. The host was super friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of my stay. I felt very comfortable and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for everything!

Ajith is a superb host who was always available when needed. He was extremely helpful and even took us to a local bakery and bought us breakfast after we arrived early in the morning directly from the airport. Since we were traveling with three kids, we needed an ideal location close to restaurants and tourist attractions while also ensuring safety. This place offered everything we needed for our family.

Very nice stay with this lovely family! They are very loving and truely cared about me. They made some food and shared it. Everything what I needed was there. Would highly recommend as a homestay.

As soon as we arrived, Chanuka received us with sincerity. Their welcome drinks were amazing. The house was as beautiful as the pictures. We were impressed by the sincerity of their entire family. And the check-out day was truly amazing. They organized breakfast and lunch for us. We had a wonderful few days. Those who want to visit Galle can rest assured in this house. We had a good stay in Gihan’s place, he is a friendly and kind host same for his family and the beautiful dog Leo. They tried to accommodate us in the best possible way which we appreciate very much, giving us a bigger room and providing us with better internet solutions (60GB for 7 days) which is usually only 2GB per day and not unlimited. It’s great that they provide a kitchen for the guests, it’s an outdoor kitchen though which caused us some trouble due to many insects. So keep in mind to store all foods in the fridge. There are many mosquitoes at the property which gave us hard time and also without air conditioning is very very hot and is difficult to sleep. At least while staying there in the beginning of November We can recommend the place, but consider to bring mosquito spray and to a room with AC. If you need to work or use the internet a lot, buy a local SIM Card too. We wish Gihan and his Family all the best.

Was very pleased with finding this apartment as it was in a very convenient location making it easy to go to all the places we needed. The apartment is exactly like the pictures- the ideal size for a small family. Loved how elegantly it was furnished as well, and included all the amenities we required. It’s also fairly spacious for a one bedroom apartment which made it easy to keep our toddler. Eresha is a lovely host, very responsive to all my inquiries and very understanding to our needs. The security is also also very helpful and friendly, which made checking in a smooth process. Highly recommend this place and will definitely book again!

We experienced excellent hospitality from Mr Nihal and his wife during our very short stay at Galle. The apartment was exactly as advertised, spacious, squeaky clean and all listed amenities functional. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning in the room was a plus to beat the humid Galle weather. The area was quiet, peaceful and a short tuk tuk ride away from the Fort. The hosts were extremely helpful when we had trouble figuring out the shower and they also provided us with tea and snacks before our early morning check-out. We truly appreciate their kindness and thoughtfulness towards their guests. Highly recommend this stay at Galle.
