Lake houses in Spring Lake

My Family came into town for a show for my daughters. The house was a great spot to stay for 2 days. Had a beautiful view of the water. It was extremely relaxing and it got my kids away from electronics for a few days with not having a tv or wifi. It was such a great family weekend together. The host was very accommodating. The restaurants in town were very goos as well. If you want to get away for a few days with peace and quiet this is the stay.

We had an enjoyable time at Brooke’s place in Asbury Park! The location is great…giving you quick access to all that AP has to offer and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. The place was super clean and had everything you need whilst away. She’s also an amazing host, who is always responsive.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Cottage was well kept and a very comfortable. Loved the peace and serenity of the beautiful forested yard! Thanks Bridget for everything!

My friends and I had an incredible time. The house is exactly as listed and made us feel right at home upon arrival. Maneesh was extremely friendly and responsive, even taking time to contact me personally on the first night of our stay to make sure I’d reach out in case of any questions. The outdoor area is wonderful with a peaceful dock and a beautiful lakeside view and a great hot tub. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely consider returning in the future. Host was flexible when I needed some tweaks to accommodations. She was clear and open about other guests on the property. She offered extra towels or anything else needed. Stopped by to say hello and welcome me to the cottage. Neighborhood and lodging were as expected since I am familiar with the area. I will stay here again! Love the short walk to the lake and ocean and bagel store!

I hesitate to say how great this place is because I want it for every time I am in NJ. With that said, this place is incredible and the hosts are the best. The description of the place may be selling it short. Most evenings involved sitting on the beach across the street watching a gorgeous sunset followed up by a quick walk or bike ride to several top notch local places for food, drinks, and fun (Al Ponte for Thursday and Friday night lobsters).

had a wonderful weekend stay at this apartment in Ocean Grove! The space was clean, spacious, and exactly what I needed for a relaxing getaway. It was the perfect size for a short stay, with everything I needed to feel comfortable. The location was ideal—quiet but close to the beach and local spots. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat at the shore.

Had a wonderful girl's weekend at the 'Retreat.' The house was very comfortable and the layout was conducive for cooking, eating and hanging out. The beds were comfy too! The backyard is amazing and we wished the weather was more cooperative for outdoor time. Communication with Ann and Mike was extremely easy and timely. We would definitely stay here again. Great stay with my family. Our kids loved the beach and the neighborhood is immensely walkable. The house is small but super clean and has all the necessities. Marc even offers a list of local recommendations for guests and his picks were always spot on -- from the restaurants, to the bagel shop, to the ice cream store. Easy checkout, too.

Michaels place was absolutely perfect. It felt like we were staying in a brand new home! The neighborhood was perfect, close to all the great local spots and walkable to the beach. No other word can describe this place besides perfect. This is coming from someone who only lives 20 minutes away. Definitely worth the weekend staycation. What really stood out was Michael as a host. He was accommodating, responsive, and extremely thoughtful. I told him that we were staying for my girlfriend’s birthday and we were welcomed by flowers, a card, and a balloon! Perfect touch. No bad things to say and we already told Michael we will be looking to spend another weekend at his home.

We had a wonderful stay at Jamie's home! Great location, walking distance to everything....beach, local shops and restaurants. It was clean and comfy! It offers many amenities that give it an "at home" feeling. We enjoyed the new patio, grill, outside shower. Amazing backyard meticulously kept! The lake was peaceful and very enjoyable. Jamie was a great host! He gave many suggestions for local spots. Jaime was very responsive and truly wanted his guest to have a great stay! I would highly recommend Jaime's home to others and hope that we can come back to stay again!

I stayed here with a few friends for my 25th birthday, and the space felt like home! Shawn's listing was so cozy, clean, and private... felt like living in a house with all of my besties! Shawn was responsive, proactive, and checked in periodically throughout the visit. Check-in and out were seamless, everything was easy to find, and the temperature was comfortable; we made such a good choice to stay here!

Such a great place went there to spend the holidays with family since our place was to small and he helped every step of the way and was very responsive. He even let us know where we can get more decorations around the area. He even let us extend to spend more time with everyone

We rented over Christmas to be near our family for the holiday. Upon check in there was the issue of a frozen pipe, but the hosts were very accommodating and set us up in the main house. Extremely clean, warm, and welcoming it made for the perfect holiday away from our home. My husband was able to whip up desserts in the kitchen for us to bring to family, the backyard was spacious and for our dogs to run and play, and my young daughter felt right at home as did the rest of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would be back again in a heartbeat and highly recommended!

My friends and I stayed here from a Monday to a Friday. Although there wasn’t much to do due to inconvenient weather and the time of our stay being so early in the season, we had a fantastic time. Carlos, and especially Jorge were excellent hosts, and they were understanding, and friendly. I am very happy that we rented from these owners. The house was beautiful, spacious, and spotless. The only downsides to the house were the small yard, the somewhat frequent noise of the trains passing by behind the house, and the minimal counter space. The kitchen is not one for cooking. Overall, we loved our experience here and we would definitely rent again

Beautifully decorated bungalow in an amazing location. 10 minute walk to the beach and good bars, restaurants; felt safe walking around at night in the neighborhood. The backyard area was also very cute. Beach chairs, umbrella and other amenities were convenient. Justine sent helpful instructions after booking that made our arrival easy and was responsive to questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Amy’s apartment style Airbnb was a delight to stay in. The apartment had every amenity you could need and was spotlessly clean. Additionally, Amy was a wonderful host with great communication and was extremely helpful with whatever you needed!

The place itself was lovely (clean, well-quipped, nicely decorated) and MacKenzie was helpful and friendly. Her instructions were so clear and comprehensive that everything was a breeze; we were always sure of our responsibilities, which helped us feel really comfortable during our stay. We loved staying at Amanda's place in Belmar! I live close by, but I had 4 friends (and 2 babies!) coming into town so I needed a place that could comfortably fit everyone for a girls' weekend. Amanda's house was exactly as described - clean, comfy, well-decorated, and well-appointed with everything you'd need. We also found the location to be very convenient/walkable. If you turn left out of the house, you're about a 10 min walk to Main St. If you turn right, you're about a 10 min walk to the beach. (There's also a playground about 2 blocks away.) Definitely recommend for a weekend (or longer) at the Jersey Shore!

5/5. Everything is exactly as described, the house is fully stocked and Ellen was very responsive, sending us tons of recs for the weekend. We used the grill and firepit, and spent hours hanging out in the backyard -- the furniture is very comfortable and fully covered. The backyard is not fully fenced (we knew this), but it is *almost* fully fenced - we were able to line up the trash cans to fence off the driveway, allowing our dog to roam around without any worries. The main beach is a short walk, and just 10- min further is a beach with off leash hours which we visited 3 times and our pup had a blast! Ellen provided us flexible check in and check out times, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend.

Stephanie was a super responsive host and gave clear instructions on how to find the place. Everything was exactly as pictured! Short walk to the beach and within five minutes drive to local amenities. Parking was a plus and the apartment is in a very quiet area.
