Vacation rentals with a kayak in Spotsylvania County

The house was great for our group! The boat dock and chairs were great down by the water! The inside very spacious. House was clean, the grill up on the deck has rusted out and isn’t useable luckily there is one down by the dock, just plan for that cooking wise and you’ll be good! While we were very excited about kayaking, one of them has a patched whole in the bottom and one of group members sank which was unexpected but luckily we just left with a funny memory. Overall, the house is in a great location and a good space for a group of 8-10 adults. We will definitely come back!

The house was great. The house had everything we needed (including the nespresso machine). We really enjoyed fishing from the dock, fire pit, kayaking, and the swim pad. It was a great place to spend a few days with family.

We had an amazing stay here! The location is perfect—right on the water with a fantastic private dock. The little "snack bar" on the dock was stocked with extra life vests and paddles. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. There was plenty of silverware and utensils for our whole group, which made cooking and dining together a breeze. A big bonus: the shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms—everyone in our group forgot theirs, so that was a total lifesaver. We also loved that the property overlooks the state park. It gave us beautiful, peaceful nature views and added a sense of privacy that made the whole trip feel like a true escape compared to other locations I've been to on this lake. My favorite part was taking the jet ski out every day. The nearby boat ramp is very private and super close, which made launching a breeze.

Wow, this house was amazing! Totally exceeded my expectations. Lynn has thought of everything to make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible. A fully stocked kitchen, tons of floats and toys for around the lake, toys for kids, instructions and hints everywhere. She also had great communication throughout our stay and was very gracious to answer questions midweek. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone and I hope my family and I can stay here again!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the tranquility of the home. Our pups enjoyed running all around the large property. Any issue we had we got an immediate response and resolution. If you enjoy being around nature and serenity, you will love your stay here, just remember to bring your bug spray ;)

Loved our family time here! House was spacious and had everything we needed from the pack n play and kayaks to an easy boat rental. Alisha was always super responsive and friendly and very easy to book with. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Had a great family getaway visiting Lake Anna and staying here. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities needed. The property was great; the family enjoyed playing tetherball and fishing off the dock. Great location and easy to dock your boat and jet skis at. We would definitely recommend to others and look forward to our next visit.

Michelle and Jim have a beautiful house and we feel extremely blessed we were able to spend a long weekend in it! The house was perfect for our family vacation and had enough space and activities for everyone. The property goes above and beyond to have many amenities which just adds to the completeness of their home. It really feels like a second home on the lake, all you need to do is bring yourselves and some food! We brought a 20ft bowrider boat, but the path from the neighborhood launch to the boat house/main lake was a little shallow (we hit 1.8ft depth). We did kick up some dirt with the propellor, but had no damage. You should have no problem with a jet boat or a pontoon however! The boat house is another wonderful feature. There is plenty of room to sit and enjoy the views, inside the screened in are or outside. It is very peaceful with not much boating activity and allows for some good fishing too! We would happily stay here again and again. Our group loved it 😊

An amazing stay for our group! It was a beautiful and peaceful environ and the house and local neighborhood had some fantastic amenities and perks that we were fully encouraged to enjoy and take advantage of. We had a full group of 8 people and and it was perfect for our needs.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The cottage is completely remodeled and provides a great space for a small family to interact and enjoy the lake. We had a mix of cooking on the Blackstone/kitchen and eating at some of the local restaurants on the lake. Christine and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful week on the lake. We used paddleboards and rented boats and wave runners from the local marinas. Smores by the fire pit were a bonus!

We had an incredible stay! The host Jae is very responsive. The place is perfect for anyone who loves fishing, kayaking, and water sports. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to the water and all the equipment you could need. The peaceful surroundings made it even more enjoyable. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Highly recommend for outdoor enthusiasts—can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed staying at this Lake Anna house and recommend it! The house sits on a small cove off the lake, and they have kayaks and a canoe, along with several life jackets. You can set the boats in the water and paddle off right away. This isn't a part of the lake where you can swim, unfortunately, but it is not far from places where you can swim. Putt putt, ice cream, lake rental, and a seafood restaurant are a short (less than 10 minutes) kayak ride away or just a 2-3 minute drive. There was a nest of red-tailed hawks in one of the front trees, which was very cool to watch. The yard is sloped down to the water, so very fun for running and playing, but don't bring a soccer ball or it will end up in the lake(!). Note that the bedroom with the bunk beds (in the basement) is directly off the big basement bedroom, so you have to go through that bedroom to get to the bunk beds. (Was only a minor issue when kiddos got up early and were noisy.) Kitchen was big and well appointed!

Very nice house. Served our purpose perfectly. Amber was helpful and good at communicating. The listing does warn renters of cameras.

My partner and I loved staying here. The hosts were super helpful and responsive and even had snacks waiting for us at check-in! Very peaceful and beautiful. Would stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at this stunning house. The location on the water was beautiful, the weather didn't cooperate for us, we would have loved it even more if the weather was nice. Nevertheless the inside space was perfect for what we needed and for our whole wedding party to stay. The only thing that would have made it more perfect was to have an additional bathroom downstairs.

definitely worth the price and they were very accommodating. the cabin was GREAT. im someone that loves the outdoors and it was very relaxing to be in that environment for the weekend. Will be back and I highly recommend this place

This home was a dream come true for our getaway! It is in a very ideal location and not too close to your neighbors. We loved the house amenities - the pool table and hot tub were used most by our family. The king beds were the most comfortable mattresses we'd ever slept on and the pillows were great too! The kitchen was a great size for hosting all 10 of us and the living room furniture was comfortable. We loved getting in the lake and it felt fairly clean. We especially loved the water being warm and see through. Having the kayak and paddleboards made it extra special. Be aware that there can be a lot of boat traffic on busy weekends (to be expected) and it will result in quite a few large waves in your swimming area. My toddler loved playing in the sand and looking at the fish from the boathouse dock. We'd rent from Daniel anytime we are in Lake Anna. He was always helpful and responsive 24/7. We appreciated having a caring host and he made our stay extra special.

This home was very clean and spacious everyone around this home was super friendly. It was in a very good location and not too far away from restaurants, grocery stores, etc. I would definitely recommend this home to others.

We had such a wonderful getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed the kayak and pedal boat. The house is beautifully located with so many opportunities for amazing lane views.
