My husband and I stayed here seeking a relaxing memorial day weekend. James's airbnb was hands down the best airbnb we have ever stayed with. From the moment we drove up the long, gravel driveway we fell in love with the breathtaking surroundings. Inside the home, we were struck with awe as we marveled at the amish-made construction, perfectly thought out details, and incredible amenities including a charming wood-burning fireplace, a wraparound upper balcony, and incredible stargazing opportunity. Not a single detail went unnoticed - we especially appreciated the bottle of wine and nightstand chocolates! We truly felt like we were at home, and strongly considered asking James to let us move in. The airbnb is a short drive to the Kickapoo River where we spent time kayaking, and a 30-minute drive to Cashton, WI where we enjoyed perusing the local amish shops. We will definitely be back, and next time we're bringing our bikes to explore the Sparta-Elroy bike trail!

Had a great time staying at Jo's place. I would wake up and the horses would be outside to greet me. All the amenities are provided for cooking and bathing. Soaps, assorted teas, and honey. I liked meditating, reading, and running on the trails nearby to the Elroy-Sparta train tunnel! It's closed in winter but still a sight to behold! LaCrosse was also a nice day trip. I missed out on the snow. I bet it would have been magnificent. I still had a nice time with nature. The place can get pretty warm, but Jo also helped me get a space radiator for some extra heat to get extra comfy. The bed was also magnificent. All in all, I would recommend.

the tranquil private setting is so relaxing. Maple Lane is incredibly comfortable with the way its set up, with nice soft bedding and the best kitchen cookware. I was so impressed with all the different Pleaseasoning and coffee flavors to utilize! I've stayed else where and didn't even have salt & pepper. I loved the watching birds & deer, came across a new born fawn a few yards from the house. I just wish we would have stayed one or two more nights to enjoy the surroundings
