Walking, driving or trolly tours are available to learn all about the history of one of the nation's oldest and largest institutions for the mentally ill. Note: Buildings are closed to the public. With a boat ramp just down the street, you can bring your toys or rent some during your stay at the Marina. There is an RV hookup for power if you need some extra space. The property is about 30 minutes to shopping and stores so we like to plan accordingly. Shoes are recommended while on the dock to protect your feet from wood and nails.
