Rushgill House: Traditional farmhouse near Penrith

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Rushgill is a beautiful, old and character filled cottage. It is in a very peaceful and scenic location. Within easy driving distance of the gorgeous Lake District and also a 15 minute drive into Penrith. The fire was used every night and Matt kindly left us heaps of wood. We also met the beautiful horse and Shetland pony that live in the stables opposite the house. This was a very relaxing four day stay for our family and we will miss the idyllic setting.

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful quiet setting. The perfect place to go, disconnect from everyday life and enjoy nature. The home had everything that you need and everything is as pictured and described. My family and I loved staying here.

Beacon Cottage

BethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow what a stunning space! Pictures don't do it justice! Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed. So much attention to detail both aesthetically and comfort wise. Ruth and Brandon so welcoming and fantastic with our children. Lovely and easy to get to nearby Dalston and Keswick if you have a car. We did so much hiking in the stunning Lake District and it was so nice to come home to such a beautiful and comfortable home. Our children asked if we could move to the house permanently! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this stunning property.

Secluded Woodland Cabin in North Cumbria

MaiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely few days in our cabin! The cabin is spacious and has everything you need inside. Nice little area to sit out in with the dog as well. We brought a long line and tied it to the porch so our pup could explore round the cabin. Definitely recommend for a cosy weekend away

Fig Tree Lodge Cumbria

HelenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We found the Lodge to be much more spacious and light than it appears in the photos. Warm and cosy . The children loved the black sheep and rabbits and we loved the peace and quiet and rural walks. Andrea was very responsive and answered all our queries quickly giving us information about the area and where to take the grandchildren. Thank you and we hope to return in the future
