Vacation rentals with lake access in Southern Finland

The accommodation went smoothly. Beautiful place and spacious.

This was our 2nd visit and we loved it. We actually booked a year in advance since we liked the place that much. Recommend it for sure!

The cottage was cozy and in a good location. Suitably private, but also close to services. The beach was right next door, so you could get there quickly. The cottage was well equipped. Especially cooking was easy and the yard was a good place to grill. The host gave good instructions and always responded quickly. I'd love to come back to this place myself.

Perfect stay for a bigger group. Also allows for multiple cars to be parked, just need to leave enough space for the people living in the house next door. Close enough to the center so Uber was very affordable to use since we did not want to walk at night. The surroundings seem peaceful though.

We were in Sysmä for the third time, but this was our first visit in the summer. The yard was summery and beautiful and we had a great time as before.

A paradise in nature. The most beautiful and perfect AirBnb we've ever experienced. It was a dream to be in. Everything was new and very well maintained. Hannu has thought of everything - from the beautiful boat, small path to your own island with barbecue area to the complete furnishings of garden furniture, fly screens and a beautiful sauna. Nature is indescribable! In four hours we rowed around the big lake. You can experience the Finnish lakes landscape in full splendor … Water, expanse, trees, sky… The villa is so private, there are no neighbors far and wide. You are alone and enjoy the luxury of the villa. Ulla and Hannu live 1 km away and are there to care for you if you need anything. Don't think, book it, you will find a gem. In addition, it is on the right side with sun until midnight in summer. Unforgettable.

Time helped, despite the instability. Lots of fun paddling on the beautiful lake in front of the chalet, followed by the traditional Finnish sauna. And a lot of contact with nature.

The apartment was neat and cozy, with beautiful surroundings. We appreciated the host’s thoughtful preparation of an extra mattress and a travel bed for our baby, which added to the comfort and convenience of our stay.

Since we had a late arrival, the key was deposited and an extra video was shot so that we could find everything. Thanks for that. The apartment is equipped with everything you might need. The location is very quiet. Optimal for us.

Tanja and Santiago are friendly and accommodating hosts. They always communicated with clear directions, helpful reminders and they always responded to any questions or comments immediately. This very clean apartment, near a beautiful forest, was a perfect spot for our family of 5 including our 3 small children. I would definitely stay there again. Kiitos!

It is a perfect location, a beautiful apartment with large spaces, appropriate facilities, gorgeous views from balcony, and the sauna was a perfect addition.

Great location, place and communication by host. Veiko met me onsite for checkin! The building is rustic but no lifts. So be mindful of stairs or those with heaps of luggage! Very central to old town and tram, close to cruise terminal too, 15 min walk to everything. if you like coffee there is a cafe called rocket coffee nearby, they are great! Fins be careful, the sauna only goes to 60 degree on max. But is well worth it!

We had a perfect stay at the property in every way. Hosts are very hospitable and have taken into account even the smallest details to make their guests' stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you again!

We had an amazing stay here, with 4 adults and 3 children (and a small dog). Lots of berry and mushroom picking, canoeing, enjoying the beautiful lake, sauna and hot tub and even catching a few fishes. No need to go anywhere else, there is more than enough to do on the property and surroundings. Pentti was always very responsive and nice. There was everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here and wish we’d been able to stay longer.

The accommodation was great for our group of five and a dog 🫶🏻 Lovely yard, tree sauna and nice and tidy cottage. The host responded quickly to messages and helped with any issues we had. The host also washed and brought us our own rowing boat and offered a champagne as a refund due to the problem situation in the cottage. The 🩷 cottage could have more tableware, such as small forks and serving dishes, and a slightly larger refrigerator. There are also many hiking spots and sights near the cottage. Highly recommended!

Fabulous few days at this wonderful cottage by the lake. The setting is spectacular and peaceful. The house has everything you could want and we made good use of the Kayaks, rowing boat sauna, hot tub etc. Jukka very helpful upon arrival and with his suggestions. Can't recommend more highly We will be back I'm sure.

A delightful cottage on the shore of a lake in the heart of nature. There was only the singing of birds and the humming of insects. Nice terrace. Great views of the lake from the cottage and terrace. The mind rested. Anja was happy, kind and caring. We had a good time.

Beautiful, new cottage on the shores of Lake Saimaa. The terrace is on the morning sun side and the sun shines until the afternoon. The beach is shallow, but a little rocky. The cottage is located about 2 km from the highway, along a forest sandy road, so it is a very quiet and private place. It is advisable to do the shopping before heading to the cottage. :) The general boat launch is in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, but there wasn't much traffic. This place has taken children into account: there are 2 high chairs, children's dishes, a potty and a step stool. Thank you for your hospitality! We had a great time:)
