Have some adventures, or just relax, at this unique cabin retreat. Located in Alberta’s beautiful Foothills bordering on to famous Kananaskis country. Hike (or snow shoe) on or off property with miles of marked trails. Stay in this authentic log cabin attached, but private from, the main home on the ranch. Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!

Rocky View Cozy Cabin

This is a new cabin nestled among huge willows with an amazing view of the Rockies in the distance. There’s a vintage clawfoot tub and shower outside on the deck, and a new compost outhouse tucked behind at the back of the cabin, how cool is that! Inside is a comfy king bed with soft linens, antique table and chairs, microwave, French press coffee maker , toaster and a BBQ outside. There are lots of lovely shade trees and fire pit area for your own picnics.
