Unique and cozy cottage by the lake

Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large sloping plot on the shore of the clean Storträsk lake. The yard is a quiet and scenic place to spend a holiday, where the neighbors are not within sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake landscape or forest life. The sauna is right next to the beach, you can go rowing or fishing by boat or paddle board. Even in winter, you can always go swimming. In the yard, you will find, for example, a gas grill and a charcoal grill, as well as a campfire place. Bed linen and towels are included.

A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

In the forests surrounding the cottage, you can hike, pick mushrooms and berries, and the scenic Lake Gölen is a kilometer away. The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-heated traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.

We promise you will feel right at home in our two-bedroom apartment, located between the city centre and the lake. We call the apartment "Top of the Lake" due to its views of lake Näsijärvi from the 13th floor. The apartment has two balconies, offering amazing lake and city views. Our two bedrooms offer high-quality mattresses and linen, as well as black-out curtains, and can sleep up to 5 people. We offer one free parking spot for guests.
