Overall, everything about the accommodation was a pleasant surprise. Cleanliness, communication, and charm were all as good as it gets, and Joyce was a delightful host. Staying in a boat along with the time spent exploring the canal on foot really made the trip. Thanks!

We had a lovely weekend on Calypso to celebrate a birthday and attend the Boat Show. Poole harbour is beautiful and there is all you need ( Tesco, restaurants etc) within a few mins walk of the boat. The boat is large and we were very warm and comfortable. Certainly a different experience for us.

Très joli bateau aussi bien à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur, idéalement amarré à proximité immédiate des commodités essentielles et d'un parking gratuit. il est très confortable et bien équipé, rien ne nous a manqué. Rose est une hôtesse particulièrement charmante, très accueillante et pleine d'attentions. Ses propos, riches de l'histoire locale dont familiale en cohérence avec la décoration et les documents qu'elle nous laisse à disposition sont une excellente introduction à la découverte de Cherbourg et des environs. Pour conclure : tout était parfait et conforme à sa description !

Unique stay right in the heart of Portsmouth. It’s a boat, I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages being gently bobbed about. It had everything you needed for an overnight stay. Timothy was very though with his communications which made it easy to check in even when we arrived late in the evening. The marina is secured and manned, and helpfully they have trolleys, so I’d suggest going and checking out the marina first, grabbing a trolley and taking it back to the gunwharf quays carpark, much easier than lugging cases/holdalls about. Speaking of the carpark you can park right next to quays, and if you take your ticket to the parking attendant you can get a discounted rate of £4.70 for 24 hours. Perfect for a unique experience stay. Not gonna lie, kinda want a boat now.

Despite running a little late due to traffic, Paul met us and provided a great intro to both the yacht and the marina. A genial and welcoming host who also took the time to introduce us to his wife, who in turn was an absolute delight too. The boat itself provided a truly unique experience for a couple that are land locked in the home counties and I would thoroughly recommend it. We had a great weekend and came away wishing our stay had been longer. John

Hi all. I share my impressions about the yacht: we were with friends for 2 days on the yacht. Very clean, has everything you need to stay, the owner is very friendly. To meet the dawn on the pier is a special pleasure. Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone

We stayed on the Gin Odyssey for the bank holiday weekend. Ric, the owner and host could not have been more accommodating. Clear instructions before arrival, all the information we needed for our break, wifi passwords, local recommendations he could not have been more helpful. The boat is located in a really good location, next to beach for fishing and crabbing and a 10minute walk from the harbour and restaurants. As a family of 5 with one younger child there was plenty for everyone. Highly recommended to anyone wanting something a bit different.

Très contente de mon séjour sur le bateau. Super emplacement sur le port pas loin du centre ville et des bus. Merci à Sébastien qui a été très arrangeant sur les horaires d'arrivée et de départ + pour le tour en bateau.

I booked last minute, i was delighted with the speedy response and ease of getting on the beautiful boat Meander. It's a perfect cosy home, ideal for my needs in terms of location and quirky details 😊 Matt was very quick to reply, friendly and informative at check in. Great selection of breakfast in the lil basket, though im not much of an eater in the morning, but if i was I'd have been more than happy with the selection of cereals, jams and fruit loaf. Highly recommended!!

Claude was lovely and very welcoming. Helped us clearly with what to do and where to go. Was very friendly and the boat was so nice to stay on. we really had a great time and hope to stay again soon

Great overnight stay on Mischief, which was a treat for my husband’s birthday whilst attending the boat show. Kathy was available upon check in to show us around the boat. A quirky little stay, ideal for anyone who was looking for something alternative to the usual Airbnb & hotels. We had a great stay, thank you Kathy

We loved it! It’s clearly an older yacht and don’t get me wrong it’s not perfect so don’t expect everything to be amazing condition because it’s not, however this actually added to its charm to us! The hot tub is lovely, the beds are comfy and it’s an amazing experience, especially if you won’t usually sail or stay on yachts. John was great showed us around and we had a good laugh with him! It’s got everything you need! One thing I would say that isn’t mentioned it does require getting up very steep steps into the boat and to get to the top deck with hot tub requires steep ladder, if your less able bodied or travelling with someone less able bodied I do think it would be a struggle however that’s not a complaint in anyway just an observation. But we loved it and would actually definitely stay again and can’t say that about everywhere I stay. So definitely recommend

I absolutely loved my stay at Freedom. Captain David and his partner, Pyae, are warm and very hospitable. The breakfast in the morning was scrumptious! The place in itself felt very homely and inviting. It is as described in the pictures and living on the boat on River Avon was really picturesque. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Bath for a few nights. And I would definitely choose this BnB again if I’m again in Bath in the future.

Magnifique nuit dans ce bateau vraiment tout été comme indiqué j'avais peur étant claustrophobe mais pas du tout c'est fort agréable certes c'est petit mais c'est exactement comme explique la capitainerie est propre et agréable Beaucoup de choses à faire a proximité c'est calme et apaisant de dormir sur le port expérience a renouveler

nous avons passé une nuit génial sur le bateau de yves que du bonheur😍 il a été adorable sur la flexibilité de l horaire pour la remise des clés nous reviendrons 🙂

Had a lovely stay on Martyn’s boat. Peaceful setting with nice walks along the towpath. It’s compact & no frills, but everything you need is there and the log burner warms it up super quick. Makes it very cosy.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and both times have been brilliant, Steve is friendly and showed us around at check in and said he would be around if we needed anything. The Marina and yacht are amazing, especially in a sunny day with loads to do nearby. Would recommend this for sure!

Our stay at the Blackbird Boat was wonderful. It’s such a unique way to spend time in a truly beautiful and peaceful place. We stayed over a few drizzly days but the boat was really cosy with the sound of rain and the bath house was such a treat - watching the sun set over the lake whilst soaking in the tub was the epitome of luxury! The kitchen was really well appointed for cooking our own meals and everything was comfy and clean. There are some beautiful locations for walking all within a reasonable driving distance as well as some nice towns nearby for day trips or meals out. Highly recommend!
