Beach house vacation rentals in South West England

We loved staying at the Rocket House with our little dog. It felt like a home away from home, comfortable, spacious, and light, and I spent many hours sitting watching and listening to the sea from the big front window. It was so relaxing being so close to the beaches and sea, and being able to pop out and sit by the harbour. Portwrinkle was a lovely place, very friendly, and on the SW coast path so you could walk easily, and close to Crafthole for dinner and the community shop (an uphill walk but then down on the way back!). We visited Cawsand and Kingsand, Looe, Polperro, Antony house, Wilcove, Mount Edgcumbe, all nearby and beautiful. We will come back and stay again because I loved the home itself, the location, and the peace of the view and sea. Doing my yoga practice with the window open and the sound of the sea was wonderful. I didn't want to leave but I came home feeling rested and happy. Thank you so much.

This was my third stay at Amy’s and won’t be the last. The home is outstanding and the back beach on your doorstep, the town is less than a few minutes away and all you need there. Lots of pubs and tea shops and I highly recommend a visit to Laura Wall Art for lovely gifts. Be back soon thank you Amy

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

Centrally located to easily explore anywhere from north of Aberystwyth to south of Cardigan. High quality accommodation and a generous size for 2 people. The attention to detail and the personal touches make it stand out. Good eating options within walking distance and plenty in the nearby and vibrant village of Aberaeron.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation on the clifftop with fantastic views over the sea and all along the coast, including the Isle Of Wight. Very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. very close to beach access and with restaurants within walking distance and a good range of shops a short drive away. Nicky was very helpful and friendly, would highly recommend.

Great stay at Gary’s. The view from the lounge is amazing and the area is quiet and beautiful. Great place to visit north Pembrokshire. Gary is very kind and friendly.

We had the best of week's at April's cottage. it's very sweet and placed in a super location. All the facilities are as listed, the view is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The cottage is well situated, and I highly recommend the fish shop which can be found at the top of the road two minutes walk away. We just had the most relaxing of stays and will definitely make a return visit.

Absolutely lovely home , very responsive to messages, had an issue with the electrical gate it’s no one’s fault but they acted and responded so quickly. The only issue I had was with the pool not being open even though it’s listed in the title “ villa with pool “ and I searched air BnB using the great pool section . I was gutted because it did state in the more about section that the pool wasn’t open until may , I trusted that using the search with great pool would be enough but unfortunately It wasn’t, I did feel this was wrong listing a property with a pool and in the title but hiding the fact it wasn’t open in the click more section, this definitely needs changing.

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

We stayed at Sam’s place to celebrate my husbands birthday. From the start Sam was responsive, friendly, answered questions and gave some fab advice. When I made a request she did everything she could to make it happen. The caravan itself is in a lovely peaceful part of the park with easy walking distance to the woods for the dog to have a run and also to the beach where we wandered to the pub and then back for an ice cream. Sam clearly explained how everything worked, where everything was & what she was doing to make things perfect for her guests. Her guide for things to do was really helpful so our days were filled and never dull. I would call this caravan a proper family home, it does everything it’s suppose to so you can just relax and enjoy your holiday. When I had some sad family news, Sam went out of her way to make sure we were ok and that we didn’t need to rush out the caravan on check out, so if you want a proper family home from home that does what it says - visit here! 🩷

Fabulous property great pool and hot tub would highly recommend to any families for holidays

location was absolutely perfect for a relax and a decent walk everyday, we paddle boarded up the coast both ways and the scenery was stunning and finished most days with a swim in the pool. if you're after a close too everything place too stay this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a break away from the world then this will tick all your boxes 🤗

From booking the trip to handing back the keys, everything was exceptional. Philippa's welcome message and instructions made the process incredibly easy. The accommodation itself was lovely, felt like home. would 100% recommend

Just wow! I can honestly say this was one of the best vacations our family has ever taken! The home was absolutely beautiful inside and out. You can tell the owners really take pride in their property. The views were just stunning and you can see the sea and town from every single window. The pool was great for our large family too! It was so convenient to have a shower, toilet and changing area right inside as well. The kids (and adults) loved every second of it! Hayley made us feel right at home and was quick to respond with any questions we had. I highly recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a beautiful private relaxing retreat. We would definitely return!

Everything was really great with this AirBnB. The host has clearly invested a lot of time, money and effort in this home. Excellent quality of accommodation and lots of nice details, much appreciated!

We had a wonderful stay at the cosy cottage. The first hours unfortunately were quite cold, because the house wasn’t heated when we arrived. But we escaped into the warm jacuzzi :) When the house was warmed up it was perfect. The surroundings are beautiful, you can do great walks in and around Lee. We totally recommend it!

What an amazing find! Utterly private and feels very rural. Even though the lovely village of St Agnes and glorious beaches and towns are only a short distance away! Very cosy and eclectic home with some delicious treats and a bottle of fizz left by Kate and Simon. If you do stay, you HAVE TO use Sunny Spice, whether it’s for takeaway or eat in. Best South Indian food and yummy dosas I’ve had outside of London or Kerala! Thank you for making us so welcome and for the brilliant recommendations of places to go and local eateries.

Staying at Camilla's home in Mousehole was an absolute joy. The house is beautiful, very well equipped, stylish and comfortable and, situated at the top end of the town, the sea views from every single window are simply stunning, it was amazing! Camilla left a welcome pack of a few essentials that was very welcome, was always responsive and helpful and check in and out were very easy. We parked on a road at the top of the town and carried our luggage down to avoid taking the car through the narrow streets, an option if you're happy with the walk back up the hill to the car. We had visited Mousehole on a daytrip before, but staying in the town was a really special experience. We definitely hope to return.

We recently returned from an amazing three-night stay at this stunning home and cannot express enough how impressed we were. The décor is beautiful, with every detail in the home reflecting a high standard of quality. As a group of six, the house was perfect for us with it’s fabulous mix of comfortable/relaxing social spaces and split level bedrooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful living area with its gorgeous sea views and enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the lovely dining/kitchen space. The house is incredibly well-equipped, offering everything we could need and more. Although we couldn't explore some of the recommended local restaurants due to being in the local area for a music festival, we wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area in search of a luxurious stay. Communication with Iveta before, during, and after our trip was excellent, providing all the necessary instructions that we needed. Overall, we had an amazing time in this beautiful home!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mewslade Cottage. We stayed in the Store. The Store was very clean and we had clear instructions on how to use the facilities. It was also very comfortable and cosy. Anna was a great host and really friendly. She also made some great recommendations for site seeing, surfing and local walks. The location was perfect, very easy to find. We will definitely visit again.

We had a fantastic stay during May half term with the kids - the house is stunning, even better than the photos and the view is spectacular. The house has a very high -end finish to it and had everything you could wish for in terms of amenities. We look forward to visiting again sometime soon
