This place is absolutely stunning with breath taking views and surrounding and has all the required amenities and the property is very beautiful and located very close to MG Marg. The host took care of us very well and their complimentary breakfast is something which we love so much, it’s absolute delight. If you are planning to visit Gangtok this place should be your natural choice, felt as if we were at home. Amazing host in Gangtok. The place is little away from the city, however you can easily get taxi from the road. They also have a travel desk person to arrange local tours and taxi. Comfortable stay and spacious rooms. Food is home made. friendly landlord who will also assist if you encounter with any issues during your stay.

Our first AirBNB booking at The English Cottage was truly beautiful! The heritage cottage vibes and ethereal mountain views won our hearts immediately. The Deck has gorgeous views! Despite always staying in hotels for all our trips, this homely atmosphere, immaculate room and all the available amenities made us very comfortable. Sharon and Sanjeev are truly Superhosts! Sharon goes above and beyond, customizing breakfast for each guest and ensuring everyone feels at home. Every morning felt like a family meal with Sharon, Sanjeev, and other guests, sharing stories and enjoying a hearty breakfast. They gave excellent recommendations for things to do, places to visit and restaurants to try. They even loaned us ponchos and umbrellas for a rainy day forest trek because the ones we already had were small. It was a Memorable stay at kessang’s homestay…extremely peaceful & pristine environment, surrounded with forest, organic farms…home cooked meals made from local ingredients…he is a great chef, I enjoyed every meal he prepared…perfect place if you are also travelling with your pets….lots to do around, places to visit….overall had a wonderful stay here….will visit again…

I had a wonderful time at the Meghmala home stay in Rimbick. The host (Uncle & Aunty) was very friendly and helpful, and the room was cozy and clean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, and I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains every morning and the night view of mountain was so mesmerizing. The home stay was also close to many attractions, such as the Manendra Samten Monastery, 105years old, the Srikhola Bridge, and the Lodhama Hydro Power plant. Network connectivity is also good, I will suggest to use Jio network, as it has best connectivity in this entire region. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the beauty and peace of Rimbick, Darjeeling.

The place is as described. He is so helpful. The House feels very welcoming and also he has hand drawn map which helps to navigate the city Very well. We received a very warm Buddhist welcome, which was really unexpected. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the Wife’s cooking, as we had reached late and had not informed him earlier. The place has Heated beds for when the nights gets very cold. The place is very clean. Will love to stay here again . Thanks for hosting us.

If anybody wants to feel mountains, he must spend a few days there. Sight of snow-clad Kanchenjunga from the room (from the bed, to be precise) in a clear sunny day is a bonus, the real thing is the serenity of mountains. If you fail to see beyond 5 yards, rest assured that Almighty Himalaya himself will console you with the gentle touch of his clouds meandering through the balcony of your room. The surrounding, in any point of time, leaves you calm at the core of your being in this Peaceful Nest, as the name of the room Shanti-neer aptly suggests. You may not even care for all the earthly facilities meticulously provided in the room and through the service as you will remain mesmerized by the Nature throughout your stay there.

Tucked away in the hills, Relaimi Homestay was a peaceful retreat for my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, Sujata and Nischal welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel instantly at home. The homestay itself was cozy and charming, with large windows opening to misty mountains. A highlight of our stay was Sujata’s incredible home-cooked meals. Her chicken momos, served with tangy chutney, were unforgettable. The Nepali thali—dal, bhaat, vegetables, and achaar—was wholesome and comforting. If you love mountain air, meaningful conversations, and soulful home-cooked meals, Relaimi Homestay is the perfect escape, it offers more than just a stay—it’s an experience that stays with you. Infact we booked the stay only for 3 days and then extended to another 2 days and we can’t wait to return here again.

As part of my All India ride I chose to stay at Ronglyang Homestay on my 293rd day. The host Mr Vivekanand was extremely friendly and very responsive. The food served was homely and delicious. The homestay was very clean and neat. It was at a very peaceful location, with lovely view of the mountains, very friendly neighbourhood, and a very homely atmosphere. Everything about Ronglyang homestay is worth mentioning. If the suggestion to make a perfect parking facility is also taken care of, Ronglyang will become the best homestay in Gangtok. I chose to stay here for a week and returning with making a good friend and a promise to comeback. Wishing Mr Vivekanand and Ronglyang homestay all the very best. 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The hosts have done a fabulous job in making the stay here a memorable one, every nook and corner of the property has been curated aesthetically. Not to mention, their attempt at making the stay comfortable for their guests. I was travelling with my mother and family and they have not just spend a lot of energy in making the trip worthwhile for her, but their kitchen garden treats have left us all amazed. Long walks around the property is highly recommended, helps one appreciate a slow paced life and it's beauty. Last but not the least, the property placed at one of the highest points of Kalimpong provided an amazing view of night lights not just in kalimpong, but also Sikkim and Darjeeling. Not to forget the BREATHTAKING early morning view of kanchenjunga from your bedroom's balcony!
