Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sikkim

Hey guys This is the exact getaway stay after a long busy week or month, Everything is amazing about this place. I would like to point down everything that makes this place amazing, • Firstly when you enter this place, You will be filled with greenery, No sound of any traffic or anything, The only thing you can hear is the sound of the water flowing by. • Secondly the rooms, The rooms are filled with all the amenities needed, They have a good internet connection for working at there entire place, Rooms are clean and decorated, and have views to the entire place and the valley. • Now the food, The food was totally amazing, The food is home cooked in fire wood, So the taste is also amazing and they greet you with a welcome drink and even the breakfast is complimentary. The prices of the food are also very reasonable compared to the quality they are providing. • The place is filled with plants, They have there own nursery of plants and the place has different paths which leads to amazing views. • They have a fresh water source at there place which was the most peaceful part, When you drink that water you will fill like you are on the top of the world. • Also they have a pet at there place, You can spend your time with her. • The entire place is managed by there own family, So its lovely to talk with everyone of them, Mostly everyone is busy working at the place, Which is a view worth watching. • They also provided us with farewell gifts, Although we stayed there for a night. Everything out there was amazing, This place gives you the peace you want. I would like to Thank everyone, Bindya, Preeti and everyone else for treating and making us feel like home. P.S. This place is absolutely stunning with breath taking views and surrounding and has all the required amenities and the property is very beautiful and located very close to MG Marg. The host took care of us very well and their complimentary breakfast is something which we love so much, it’s absolute delight. If you are planning to visit Gangtok this place should be your natural choice, felt as if we were at home. This place is recommended for couples and families and this place ticks all the right boxes to be one of the best AIRBNB we ever stayed. We look forward to visit again to explore north Sikkim. Amazing host in Gangtok. The place is little away from the city, however you can easily get taxi from the road. They also have a travel desk person to arrange local tours and taxi. Comfortable stay and spacious rooms. Food is home made. friendly landlord who will also assist if you encounter with any issues during your stay.

It was a Memorable stay at kessang’s homestay…extremely peaceful & pristine environment, surrounded with forest, organic farms…home cooked meals made from local ingredients…he is a great chef, I enjoyed every meal he prepared…perfect place if you are also travelling with your pets….lots to do around, places to visit….overall had a wonderful stay here….will visit again…

I had a wonderful time at the Meghmala home stay in Rimbick. The host (Uncle & Aunty) was very friendly and helpful, and the room was cozy and clean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, and I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains every morning and the night view of mountain was so mesmerizing. The home stay was also close to many attractions, such as the Manendra Samten Monastery, 105years old, the Srikhola Bridge, and the Lodhama Hydro Power plant. Network connectivity is also good, I will suggest to use Jio network, as it has best connectivity in this entire region. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the beauty and peace of Rimbick, Darjeeling.

I had a lovely stay at Sangdup's countryside homestay in the hills of Upper Dzongu. There are walkable trails and the surrounding is quite nice and peaceful. The altitude of the place is lower than that of Gangtok, so it's not as cold and high-altitude-exotic/stunning as some of the other North Sikkim tourist destinations, but I enjoyed the vibe of being in nature. Sangdup and his family are quite helpful and try to create a good experience for you. It's worth noting though that in order to reach the homestay you have to climb some 130 stairs. Everytime you need to go down for a car ride or for a hike you have to climb stairs.

Easily among the most pleasant and memorable stays we have had during our family road trips! Beautiful surroundings, great view of Kanchenjunga (sunset even better than sunrise), caring and responsive support staff. Sonam and family are kind, responsive and gracious hosts - we were especially lucky to spend an evening with them around the delicious barbecue they were having. Mrs. and Mr. Kazi Sherpa are delightful storytellers - we'll always cherish our time with them. Whole heartedly recommend Sherpa Villa for a peaceful, beautiful stay in Gangtok!

Tucked away in the hills, Relaimi Homestay was a peaceful retreat for my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, Sujata and Nischal welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel instantly at home. The homestay itself was cozy and charming, with large windows opening to misty mountains. A highlight of our stay was Sujata’s incredible home-cooked meals. Her chicken momos, served with tangy chutney, were unforgettable. The Nepali thali—dal, bhaat, vegetables, and achaar—was wholesome and comforting. If you love mountain air, meaningful conversations, and soulful home-cooked meals, Relaimi Homestay is the perfect escape, it offers more than just a stay—it’s an experience that stays with you. Infact we booked the stay only for 3 days and then extended to another 2 days and we can’t wait to return here again.

As part of my All India ride I chose to stay at Ronglyang Homestay on my 293rd day. The host Mr Vivekanand was extremely friendly and very responsive. The food served was homely and delicious. The homestay was very clean and neat. It was at a very peaceful location, with lovely view of the mountains, very friendly neighbourhood, and a very homely atmosphere. Everything about Ronglyang homestay is worth mentioning. If the suggestion to make a perfect parking facility is also taken care of, Ronglyang will become the best homestay in Gangtok. I chose to stay here for a week and returning with making a good friend and a promise to comeback. Wishing Mr Vivekanand and Ronglyang homestay all the very best. 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The hosts have done a fabulous job in making the stay here a memorable one, every nook and corner of the property has been curated aesthetically. Not to mention, their attempt at making the stay comfortable for their guests. I was travelling with my mother and family and they have not just spend a lot of energy in making the trip worthwhile for her, but their kitchen garden treats have left us all amazed. Long walks around the property is highly recommended, helps one appreciate a slow paced life and it's beauty. Last but not the least, the property placed at one of the highest points of Kalimpong provided an amazing view of night lights not just in kalimpong, but also Sikkim and Darjeeling. Not to forget the BREATHTAKING early morning view of kanchenjunga from your bedroom's balcony!
