Up North and its sister cabin Green Acres are both comfortable one bedroom cabins with screened in decks on a wooded setting. There is a trail right outside the front door that leads to a sitting area on the Black River. The river is shallow with a sandy bottom. Perfect for dogs that love to swim. Along the way you’ll see the best of nature including creeks, ravines, hills, and probably some wildlife. The cabins are only 10 minutes away from South Haven’s world class beaches and restaurants.

This is a hidden gem! Our group stayed here for a weekend and had an awesome time. We loved the hot tub, the cozy couch and big common spaces, the tricked out finished garage space, and easy access to the lakes (both by kayaking or a nice 25 min path walk). Aaron is a phenomenal host. He stocked the place with anything we could’ve needed and more. Would stay here again for sure. Only knock is we overestimated the number of bedrooms by 1, but that might’ve been our own fault. We had someone sleep on the nice big couch so it wasn’t an issue.

We had a great stay at Erika’s place! Everything was as described. Location: about a 15 minute walk to the beach and downtown area. We had 3 little kids so we did end up driving to the beach bc of all the stuff we had and the heat but parking at the beach was also easy Home: feels homey/lake house! our kids loved the play room and bunk beds! The house had all the things needed for our stay and was very clean. Check in and check out was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again. !

I have to say thank you, thank you, thank you! After my Airbnb at another property in Michigan informed me that they overbooked and I could not check in until a day later than I anticipated, I was put in a difficult situation, scrambling to find a place that will allow me to stay for one night. Jim was amazing in allowing us to come in and stay at the HollyWoods for the beginning of our trip. I wished I had found his place 2 months ago when I booked our entire week vacation The HollyWoods was far superior to where we ended up for the rest of our vacation. The hiking trails on the property, the fishing pond, the landscaping, the house, the kitchen that included everything you might need, exceeded all my expectations. The HollyWoods turned out to be better than any other Airbnb at which you've stayed. I highly, highly recommend The HollyWoods!

Really cute place! Neighborhood is very cute and quiet, walkable to the park. Small house but surprisingly soundproof between the bedrooms which was nice with a baby. Pack and play and high chair were great to have, as was laundry, although the washer was quite noise and rattled. The backyard was great, including the cute little garage sitting area! Wish it had been closer to town but overall had a great stay!

Stayed in plenty of AirBnBs, probably the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Dishes were not clean in the dishwasher from the last guest running it on their check out, they were organized in the closet. Spotless. Bed was fantastic, clean as can be. Kitchen equipment was very nice. Cold and hot (filtered) water provided. Derrick accommodated a LAST second booking (literally night before) so clear the spot stays this clean regularly. Zero noise from downstairs businesses, couldn’t recommend one thing to improve. Picky would be to offer a few beach towels but we made it work with the oversized colored shower towels. 5* place would stay again!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The best feature for us was the screened-in porch—we spent hours out there just relaxing with our one-month-old baby. The kitchen was excellent, with double ovens, and having a washer and dryer on-site was incredibly convenient. The location is close to all the wineries and cideries, and just a short drive to plenty of restaurants over in Fennville. We also really appreciated that a pack-and-play was provided, which gave us a safe and comfortable spot for our baby to sleep. As dog owners, we were grateful for the thoughtful touches like water bowls and a crate. It was also a nice surprise to arrive on a hot day and find the room air conditioners already running. We’d definitely stay again!

We had such an incredible time staying here! Loved the location - it was super convenient and close to downtown South Haven but still nice and quiet. The hot tub was amazing, and the garage setup had endless fun stuff to do. Would absolutely stay again!
