Close to wineries in the South Burnett region, with easy getaways to bicycle trails and rail tracks, state forest as well as local townships with lots of local food and delicacies. NOTE: We have had numerous request for families with infants. We cannot accept these bookings as there is a unfenced dam on the property, and we have been advised not the take bookings with infants.

Belltree Ridge - Relaxing Private Rural Escape

Belltree Ridge is an absolute treasure in a stunning location. It is an extremely unique hand crafted homestead built from reclaimed and local timber. It offers complete privacy and is just 11 kms from the township of Maleny. For winter comfort, a wood burning fireplace and for summer an outside fire-pit . The three bedrooms have ducted air-conditioning and heating. We now have Starlink Wifi but will happily turn it off so guests can really disconnect from their busy lives.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.

Set back on a 12000 acre cattle property just over 1 ½ hours drive West of Brisbane and 20 minutes drive from Kilcoy, Toogoolawah and Blackbutt and only a short drive/ride from the very popular Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. The lodge has a large verandah on 2 sides where you can sit back and relax or have a game of pool, watch the kids play badminton or volleyball or read a book. Wicklow Cottage is a renovated country cottage situated on a working farm approximately 12 min north of Kingaroy, near the village of Wooroolin. It is a quiet location yet close to town and near the rail trail. You can choose to base yourself here to explore the area or just chill out on the verandah with a good book, a glass of local wine, enjoying the view. Some guests stay while on short term work assignments. 2 pm checkout on Sundays for weekend bookings
