The owners are great and as the cottage is on the same farm as the owners you can have the privacy you need but the availability of the owners if required. We had a great time at the cottage and it is in driving distance to the wonderful sights and walks around Devon

Cosy South Hams cottage, near the sea

ChristineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I stayed with an old University friend and we enjoyed being able to entertain another of our contemporaries, who lives nearby, for supper. The kitchen was very well equipped with a lovely modern kitchen /dinning area in the light filled extension which opens on to the patio. The small garden is well maintained and attractive with a good area of grass, plenty of evening sunshine and shelter. It is very private and we enjoyed having a glass of wine here and being able to eat outside. The house was very clean with attractive and good quality furniture, bedding and towels. There was a lovely welcome pack, which was much appreciated. Small details such as washing up liquid, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, clothes hangers etc were provided. All matters had obviously been given a great deal of consideration to help make guests stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. There was good information re the property and local area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jane’s lovely cottage.

Lovely barn conversion with private parking and with a great eye for detail. Very clean, comfortable and everything you’ll need for a great stay. There is a seated raised private garden right beside the property which gives you amazing views over the countryside, perfect for a glass of wine and enjoying the view.. Met the hosts Joy and John and they are very friendly and helpful, lovely great place to stay!
An expansive coastal view showcases the shoreline bordered by gentle hills. The image features a mix of sandy beach and shingle, with small boats visible on the water. A distant white building stands at the edge of the beach, surrounded by lush, green fields.

3 Bed Cottage in Beeson, Kingsbridge

MaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
As always we had a fabulous stay at Lesley and Ades place. We adore the location and everything about this beautiful home. It has everything we need and more for a family of four. The children love playing in the Orchard and in the garden. I always love cooking on the Aga, and enjoy being so close to the Southwest Coast Path for walks and runs. We always enjoy days out in Dartmouth, Bantham sands, Salcombe and more! Lots of lovely National Trust places nearby to visit. The weaving, winding roads of Devon are a home from home for me. There’s a certain camaraderie to negotiating these beautiful routes. Thanks Lesley and Ade for having us back.
A black dog with long, curly fur sits on a well-maintained green lawn. Natural stone walls form the backdrop, with a hint of plants and gravel visible in the garden, creating a serene outdoor setting.

2 Bed in South Allington (FERN3)

MillieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved loved loved our stay here in South Devon. It was a super peaceful location and perfect for a few days of relaxation. It was within walking distance of some beautiful beaches and coastal spots - we did a coastal walk to Maceley Cove and also another to Start Point - both unbelievable! The accommodation was well equipped with everything you’d need, super nice bath to relax in and a very comfortable bed. The hosts were warm and welcoming and really friendly. The roads in and out of the area were narrow but once we’d sussed a route we had no issues with it! Would recommend a stay here!
A seaside view features a collection of multi-colored buildings perched on a hillside, with a beach area below. Calm waters reflect the clear blue sky, while people can be seen enjoying the coastal scene. The architecture displays a blend of traditional and modern styles.
