Vacation rentals with breakfast in Sololá Department

La casa es pequeña y al más estilo antiguo de la zona. Esto no es una crítica, al contrario, eso permitió vivir una agradable experiencia mientras visitamos Xela. Elizabeth fue muy amena y la estancia fue acogedora. El desayuno típico fue todo lo que esperábamos y su hospitalidad realmente merecen una oportunidad. Esta cerca del parque central, si bien no hay parqueo, Elizabeth apoya para que los huéspedes se parqueen en cualquiera de las dos ubicaciones cercanas a la casa. Definitivamente, un buen lugar para estar mientras se visita Xela.

Todo muy limpio y ordenado, atención 10/10. Una linda casa, tal y como en las fotos, muy buena vista, muy bien ubicada, cerca del hotel Conceptio a donde recomiendo ir a desayunar. El único aspecto negativo que pudimos encontrar fue que se siente un olor en el ambiente no muy agradable, me parece por una finca de café, pero por todo lo demás vuelvo a regresar en algún otro momento.

Incredible home and surroundings. Amazing views from back of the home. You wake up with breathtaking views of The Volcan de Fuego. You couldn't pass up morning walks. That entire grounds were accessible and well maintained. The home was immaculate with all of the rooms ready for us. Living area had a smooth flow from the front of the home to the back. Great open space design! We chose this home for two reasons. One so my entire family can stay together, and to be as close as possible to Antigua. Two, we also wanted to celebrate our wedding in a beautiful surrounding that would be memorable. This home did that without a problem. Alejandra, representative of Asesores, was in contact with us from the beginning to the end. Answered all of our questions, our requests, and made our stay stressless. The owners Debbie and Carlos were amazing hosts. They were super helpful with the wedding preparations. The staff were amazing. We would certainly come back and stay at Casa Cristal!

Great breakfast, such a friendly family, and walking distance to the market. Must be comfortable with pets. Thank you!

Excelente lugar, la limpieza, la comodidad, la ubicación, la atención, todo fue muy bueno.

La casa es totalmente acogedora, coincide con las imágenes. Tiene una terraza con un Jacuzzi para poder tomarse un tiempo de calidez. La zona de estancia familiar por la noche, al encender la fogata de mesa, invita a relajarte y tener buenas charlas con los acompañantes. Las habitaciones muy cómodas. Diana super especial en todos los aspectos, nos hizo un tour personalizado que ayuda mucho a conocer la casa y ver las amenidades. La casa queda literal a 200 metros de restaurantes de todo tipo de comida y 100 metros de una Despensa por si olvidaron algo en casa. Excelente lugar realmente.

It’s a good place. It’s very center little bit noisy because of the church in front other than that everything was great. I will stay there again.

La estancia con Llemo y Vilma estuvo excelente. Son muy amigables y simpaticxs. Son muy atentxs, aseguraban que teníamos todo lo que necesitábamos. El cuarto estaba muy limpio. Llemo también es guía y nos arregló una subida al volcán San Pedro. Me pareció también excelente la oportunidad de compartir espacio con una familia que es de San Pedro, y que pudo compartir de su cultura y su conocimiento del lugar, en vez de que nos quedáramos en un hotel puesto por extranjeros. Our stay with Llemo and Vilma was excellent. They are very kind and friendly. They are very attentive; they made sure that we had everything we needed. The room was very clean. Llemo is also a guide and he arranged a trip up the San Pedro volcano for us. I also thought it was great to be able to share space with a family that’s from San Pedro, and was able to share their culture and their knowledge of the area with us, rather than staying in a hotel run by people from outside Guatemala.

We absolutely loved this beautiful place! The accommodation was lovely, and the host was always responsive and friendly, which really made our stay even better. The surroundings were stunning and so peaceful by the lake, we truly enjoyed every moment. We’d definitely love to stay here again! 😄

Perfect place for exactly what I needed! Comfy bed and great wifi! The hosts are also incredibly lovely people. So great to talk to. And they cooked an amazing breakfast with coffee in the morning! They were also very helpful with everything I needed during my stay. I highly recommend this place :)

this stay in Totonicapán was truly something unique and life changing. Carlos and his whole family are pillars of their community who strongly advocate for the preservation of the local K'iche cultural and linguistic heritage, artistry, and traditional agrarian lifestyle. While I was with the Chaclan family, I felt so honored to bear witness to the traditions of their community, and their eager willingness to introduce me to their way of life was something unlike I had ever experienced beforehand. after this visit, I plan to come back to Totonicapán periodically to further study the area. I encourage any visitor to the Guatemalan highlands curious about the local traditions to book a stay with this family, as they will ensure you are taken care of as a member of their own household, and provide you with information about anything on the area that piques your curiosity.

Really nice stay at Marlon's place for me and my husband. Marlon is available to answer any questions you have and make you feel right at home. The space is basic but has everything you need. There's a rocking chair and the porch which are nice to hang out. We had an issue with the lock on the bathroom but Marlon was quick to respond and take care of it!

Rocio’s place was a beautiful retreat right on the lake. Stunning views from the bedroom, bathroom, and rooftop area. Super private and great place for some R&R. We took full advantage of all there was to offer (kayaking, massages, private cook). This place will forever be a memorable place for us as we got engaged at the rooftop of the property. All of the staff were amazing and very helpful, especially Edgar! We had a few meals made for us which were really tasty. 10/10 experience.

In many respects, this place is just unique! The room is bright, comfortable and tastily decorated. The grounds are stunning and a pleasure to walk around, not least the private pier which lets you directly access the lake, be it for swimming or just enjoying the view. The breakfasts were delicious and Isa was kind enough to prepare them earlier on one morning to accommodate for our plans. But above all the real reason to stay at Cojol'Ya is to get a chance to chat with Candis, Cameron and Isa, to get a glimpse of their incredible life stories, to better understand the local community they're so immersed in (if they recommend doing something with Miguel, say yes! He is a legend). It had been a while since travelling through airbnb actually meant interacting with the host, so this was memorable. One small drawback: if you're really scared of bugs/spiders, do think twice about staying there, you will see a lot of creepy crawlies (especially at night), including a few inside the room

Amazing place! The host and grounds people made us feel right at home. The views were unbeatable. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
