Beachfront vacation rentals in Solanto

The place was beautiful and more spacious than we had anticipated. The view from the sun deck is mesmerising. It’s a walkable distance from Mondello beach. Clotilde, the owner, was proactive with our check in and check out and provided helpful information on local amenities. Overall, I would recommend!

The place was really great! Only in the small bedroom it was just too stuffy because there was no air conditioning there, and opening the window would have been too loud at night. But otherwise a very nice, spacious place, equipped with everything you need. The 2 terraces were also great! As for the resort itself (Aspra), it must be said that it is unfortunately difficult to get around without a car (but there is a free shuttle a few times a day) and there is little to do there. The beach is very close to the property. It's not particularly nice, but it serves its purpose. I would recommend many day trips, otherwise it is a good place for a detox! :)

Roberto's home is situated in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood of Villagrazia di Carini and is 30 minutes away from Palermo downdown by car. So, perfect location without the big city hussle. The place is an actual house, very spacious one I might add and with a nice back garden filled with citrus, olive and palm trees among others. The background is spectacular with a majestic mountain being iluminated by different shades of colors throughout the day. We felt more than welcome, Roberto and his family are great hosts and we didn't miss anything. In fact it was one of the most confortable and pleasant accomodations we've had in our latest travels. Highly recommended!

We had a one night stay before an early morning flight. The location was perfect. We had a lovely day at the beach. Margherita was very helpful and even gave us a ride to the airport at 4:00am. I would definitely stay again.

Erika is a beautiful and loving host who asked us in between if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The place is very nice and stylishly decorated. The cottage as well as bathroom is well maintained and very clean. You have plenty of space and can move freely outside in the garden, as well as cook comfortably. Nothing was missing in the accommodation and we were provided with a lot of food that we could use. I recommend it to everyone, especially families but also friends. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away and it is clean and the water is clear. We would come back here!!

The stay was beautiful, very peaceful and the house was really big with lots of balconies and space! The rooftop was amazing. Laura was also so extremely helpful. We had a bit trouble with getting around since the taxis doesn’t want to drive inside Carini, just to take us outside the city. So Laura helped us getting a local taxi driver who was incredible too. The surroundings are beautiful, not that many restaurants and hard to find a grocery store nearby, but the ones that exist have really nice and friendly staff. The place is really close to the ocean, easy to take a nice walk. We were really happy with our stay, the house was perfect.

The house is perfect for enjoying Mondello beach, comfortable and complete with everything, including parking. Benedetto is an exceptional host, he also welcomed us with some very welcome surprises and allowed us flexible hours. Highly recommended :-)

I stayed in Marilù's house for a week and had a great time, nothing is missing. The house is very nice, clean, and tidy. Very close to the beach, the convenience store (perfect for shopping because there is everything), the pharmacy, the bar, and the restaurants. Marilù and Giuseppe are special, very kind and helpful. I felt at home, I hope to come back!

What a dream place! We had the most amazing vacation in the villa. We stayed at the home with 6 adults and 2 young children (1,5). The master bedroom is almost like a small apartment in its self. There is a room on the ground floor which was perfect for my parents in law who are less mobile. The place is spacious and beautiful. The garden is amazing with the private swimming pool and tennis court. We played tennis every day. The location is also very nice, walking distance from both the beach and the town. We would highly recommend to stay at this place! One of our best vacations ever!

Villa Claudia is place where you experience Sicilian hospitality and comfort at the highest level. The spacious beds with firm mattresses, plenty of space, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, pool and outdoor grill provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. For trips to Palermo or the more distant sandy beaches, a car is recommended, but within walking distance you’ll find a rocky beach, a super well-equipped small supermarket (B+F), and “Ganci” – always open for very affordable snacks, cafe, gelato, or a spritz. Villa Claudia offers the best of both worlds: ideal for spending a few relaxing days there and as a perfect base to begin wonderful experiences in Palermo, at lively beaches, or in the hinterland.

Zaira’s place was perfect for our first time in Palermo/Sicily. Explored downtown, some local villages, and Zingaro Nature Reserve before taking car ferry to Sardinia. Pool area was awesome and her garden immaculate. Thanks very much!

Wow! From the moment we arrived Francesco and Cynthia made us feel welcome, at home and we left feeling like part of their family. The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful, private section with everything we needed - including a lovely outdoor shower, table and chairs. The private pool was perfect for a dip after our day trip to Palermo. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Mondello beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. They responded to every request immediately - even driving to the supermarket to buy us bottles of water! Cynthia even wrote a plan for us when visiting Palermo - which we used and worked perfectly. We’ll remember this holiday forever because we got engaged on the trip. But also because we met such wonderful people and stayed in such a beautiful home - thank you Francesco and Cynthia! As promised, we will definitely be back one day ❤️

Our host contacted us immediately after our reservation was confirmed and made it easy for us to get home. When we got home, he welcomed us and explained in detail every part of the house and all the possibilities in the house. Paolo immediately returned to our message when we needed help, even making us very happy to bring us what we needed. The house was exactly as described and had a great atmosphere where you could sleep and wake up with the sound of the waves. It was very peaceful in terms of location. It was great to go to the sea in front of the house and watch the view from the balcony. Thank you very much to our host Paolo:)

We were in the villa as a girls' group and immediately felt at home. We had a very nice time.

Place was neat and tidy and everything we needed! Everything worked perfectly from aircon to stove to shower. Francesco was extremely helpful and super responsive whenever we needed anything and helped organising airport transfers as well as checkout an hour later to accommodate our flight time. All in all very happy with everything!

Marco was very friendly and came to pick me up at the station and gave me a lot of recommendations for the neighborhood.The accommodation was very clean and had all the necessary equipment, and because it was located on the seafront of this small town, all the restaurants and supermarkets were close, and we had a very relaxing stay.They also sent me back to the station, and we had a great stay from start to finish.Thank you Marco for your kindness and hospitality.Thank you!

Absolutely lovely place, right on the beach with the most stunning view. I loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and sleeping to it too. Massimo was very kind, helpful and informative throughout the stay. I would recommend his place as it has the perfect balance of peace and is close to the gym and restaurants. He sent us a list of things to do and places to see, which were great and coordinated not just a driver but a few drivers, as well as giving us clear instructions when checking in and out. We had a nice time in the house right on the sea. Everything was available to cook with 7 people. It was a bit difficult only with the loungers. Otherwise, everything was fine

We were completely happy with the place! The view from the terrace is simply stunning. The rooms and bathroom were clean, well equipped and very well maintained – as was the kitchen. Communication with Andrea went smoothly. Especially helpful: He organized a taxi for us from the airport and was always available. Andrea was very accommodating to us in everything and made the stay really pleasant. The apartment is conveniently located near the center of Mondello – we could easily walk to the beach. There are many great restaurants in the area, and Palermo is also easily accessible by bus. Our stay in Mondello was great – not least thanks to Andrea and his beautiful accommodation. We will be happy to come back. Thank you!

An incredible view of the bay, the apartment is very nice and modernly decorated and everything is very clean! Many drinks are provided upon arrival, including wine, beer and Aperol, which made us feel very welcome and immediately at home! Carlo is very helpful and always available, he gave us tips about the area and organized an airport transfer at an unbeatable price! We did notice a lot of traffic noise during a few nights, but it could be due to the public holiday in Italy…

I stayed in this apartment for about a week. Giusy was always available and responded promptly to my messages. She also took care in the days after check-in that everything was going smoothly. The apartment is small but hospitable and cozy. My girlfriend and I had a very good time. There's all the essentials for a nice vacation.

The house was very cozy, surrounded by the sea, trees, and birds. We enjoyed a truly relaxed Italian atmosphere, which was amazing. There is also a huge terrace with the garden. Mandella Beach is just 2 km away, offering sandy shores, plenty of restaurants, and shopping options. Near the house, there's a nice bar with a great view, tasty snacks, and cocktails. Angelo and Marilu are really friendly and wonderful hosts! Thank you so much for your local recommendations .

we stayed at this beautiful airbnb for 5 days and it was the best expereince ever. had breakfast and lunch with such a nice view sunrise, beach view. francesco and flippo were very kind and helpful. with very quick responses to any questions we had and their shuttle service at the airport. very clean space functional kitchen and close to many supermarkets and resturants all walking distance. very local area not far from the train station too. we were only 3 min away from caletta sant' elia where we went for a morning swim eveyday. we would definitly pay anther visit.
