We enjoyed our stay at Tom’s cottage. Langley and the surrounds are beautiful . Tom and the neighbours made us feel very welcome and i would recommend this place

Nice little house. Very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed everything about it. Great wifi as well when even the cell service wasnt good outside of the location. Only issue we found was the stairs to get up to the bedroom loft were much smaller and harder than we expected. So if you arent very agile you may have trouble with it. On our final day we were happy to not have to climb the stairs again but we still enjoyed it overall. Was very nice and definitely recommend. Lana is also a great host and very responsive when we reached out to her! Look out for the neat little slugs in the grass too!

Our stay at the tiny house was very comfortable and met our expectations! Really liked the location of the house and its proximity to hiking trails.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! Perfect for a small family to feel right at home. We didn’t spend much time at the cabin because we were out site seeing, but if you were going to be there long term with small children they may need things to do. Also I feel smaller children outside would be more unsafe than older kids due to the cliff drop off. We have an almost 9 year old and it was perfect. The house was clean, beds comfortable, and it stays very cool without air condition. We didn’t have to use the heat because we prefer the cooler temps. We loved the fact there was a washer and dryer to do laundry from our 12 day trip. This was the perfect ending to our vacation stay in Washington State!

10/10 would recommend! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here.

O’Neill cabin was perfects for a weekend getaway! The hot tub over looking the river was beautiful and absolutely loved using the new sauna! Highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely be back!

We loved staying in this beautiful house by the river. It was very peaceful and private and had everything that we needed for our stay. The views from the deck were unbelievable and the river was so soothing to hear throughout our stay. We saw hawks and eagles throughout each day. The house was very clean and cozy and the furniture and beds were comfortable. Our host was super friendly and responsive and made us feel like they were there for anything that we needed. It was all around a great experience and we would love to come back.

A friend recommended staying at Barred Owl Cottage for a local wedding - and the recommendation did not disappoint! Jim and Chris were superb hosts and the cottage is so cute!! I really appreciated the excellent communication prior to and day of our arrival, including the PDF of all the great things to do in the area. The back porch of the cottage overlooking the woods was our favorite part! Check out was also a breeze and we will definitely recommend Barred Owl Cottage to anyone who needs a place to stay when they are on Whidbey!

Absolutely beautiful location. This was the perfect place to get away from the city and recharge for a few days. I was lucky enough to have a day warm enough to swim in the river followed by a chilly, rainy day perfect for curling up inside by the wood stove with a book, and both were wonderful. Peaceful, quiet, and private. I'm not really an outdoorsy person, so I was nervous about the bathroom setup when I booked, but it wasn't too bad. The toilet wasn't my favorite, but it was clean and well maintained, and the outdoor shower was surprisingly lovely! Definitely worth giving it a shot if you're on the fence. The rest of the experience more than makes up for it.

Two night stay at Kate’s place. Very comfortable, quiet, and clean. Loved the bed and quality of linens. The ceiling fan kept the space very cool on hot days. Just minutes walk away from main downtown and the river. Highly recommend.

We stayed a week in The Nook and absolutely loved it. Finding the place was a little bit difficult as there are a couple of spots on the dirt road that we weren't sure where to turn. The home is so cute and nicely decorated. We loved how peaceful and private it was but also the fact that there were other homes nearby. It gave us peace of mind that we weren't alone on the long road. The town of Gold Bar is close by and has all of the necessities you may need. The neighboring towns are also great and the drive to each is beautiful. The main road follows the Skykomish River, which is breathtaking. I would highly recommend staying here if you enjoy being off-grid and in touch with nature. It's the perfect balance of comfort and nature. There are so many hikes that are mere minutes away. The Bavarian town of Leavenworth is about an hour away. It's a cute town with a lot of food options and some shopping. Thank you so much for the amazing stay! We hope to come back one day.

Crissy is a very responsive and caring host. Her communication was timely; she went above and beyond to meet our needs and exceed our expectations. She proactively checked in with us, offered an early check-in, and made our entire arrival experience a breeze. The check-in process was very clear, thanks to the cottage instructions that were sent in advance. They also provided an excellent guide to local hikes, dining, and shopping. The A-frame cottage is an absolute gem where one can cook full meals in a well-stocked kitchen and enjoy them at a beautiful dining room table. We enjoyed the fireplace while playing board games provided by the host or watching a movie on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu (access provided by the host). The entire property was spotless, beautifully furnished with fantastic amenities like a modern sauna, hot tub, and a fire pit by the river. We had the peaceful and magical weekend we were looking for and hope to return soon.

The "sleepy Neighborhood" felt like you were in a scene from a movie. I liked being close to the Puget Sound with cafe and shops near by but still have privacy. The host did a great job with all the interior details.

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed out. The farm animals are very friendly and really make the stay. The cabin is super cozy! No complaints here!

As a professional house cleaner I was very impressed with this home. I will usually clean prior to getting settled in. That was not necessary here. They took such good care of this property. Our family really enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again.

Carlo was a great host in every way. His beautiful property came right out of a dream that left me feeling relaxed and refreshed after days away from the daily grind. Lots of fantastic hikes for any skill level nearby, fun town things to do within 1 hour drive, and the most breath taking views everywhere! we will definately be back!

Denise place was perfectly cleaned and maintained. All the details are thought out. The view from the hill to the ocean and beyond is simply stunning. Please note there is no WiFi and mobile internet as well as network connection in guest house. For those who are going to work from there and require internet access - not possible. Otherwise, it's an ideal quiet place to be alone with your thoughts and loved ones.
