Cabin vacation rentals in Smith Mountain Lake

Let me start by saying the cabin is absolutely beautiful! Easy check in. The front door was a little tricky to figure out how to lock but we quickly figured it out thanks to the host Lanette’s quick response. The hike up from the dock is pretty treacherous so be mindful if you are older or have really young kids. My family and I had an amazing time and look forward to returning again !

Such a beautiful place to stay on the lake. Made for an amazing weekend.

Most peaceful and serene Airbnb we have stayed in. Beautiful view of surrounding trees and the dock on the lake. Super cozy cabin with a cute kitchen and adjacent fire pit. Highly recommend if you want to come to Smith Mountain Lake!!!

We spent the weekend here and all thoroughly enjoyed it. The house has plenty of space and all the amenities you need to get comfortable and relax. The outside is second to none as far as lake houses go at SML: fire pit, kayaks, beach area, picnic table, plenty of tree shade. The check in and out process is painless as well. Chad and his place are great.

This was my 2nd visit and it was exactly as I remember. Got to celebrate my son’s birthday on the lake and spend much needed family time. When we needed something Lannette was super responsive! I would highly recommend! She was a great host, and can’t wait to visit again!

This cabin is amazing. As soon as we walked in we were in love, and I said multiple times over the few days we were here that I wished I could live here. It is beautifully decorated with a nice mix of retro and modern. Kaitlin was amazing before our stay and gave us lots of ideas on things to do, which we did a lot of! She answered questions we had during our stay as well. She really did think of everything and put a lot of thought into creating this space and making sure it had everything we needed while we were there. 100% recommend Kaitlin and her cabin to anyone. We will definitely be back!!

While having a friend visiting from the busy city of Fort Worth Tx, and having never been to Virginia, John’s place was everything and more. Perfect for a quiet nature surrounded vacation and privacy to match. Very responsive host, great nearby restaurants, and near the beautiful SML. Great place to end a great trip! Will book again in the future

This place is amazing, the chalet was very clean and had everything needed for a nice get away. It’s located in a beautiful area with lots of farm life and is extremely peaceful and secluded. The hot tub is located in a perfect spot to either watch stars or the sunrise. Overall it was an awesome experience and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. The host Coy was friendly and respectful and he responded very quickly to all questions.

This place was heavenly! The home is beautiful, the amenities Taylor provides are endless (spices, towels, toiletries, etc), and we had such a fun stay here. It rained for most of our stay but the covered patio allowed us to still spend hours outside. When we weren’t on the porch we were using the game room or cuddled up on the couch. We cannot wait to come back. If you have a chance- eat at Vinny’s! We went back 2x

Ms. Michelle hosted my team as we were in town for a tournament and we thoroughly enjoyed the large space with the nice bedrooms, spacious living rooms, and the hot tub. We had access to everything we needed, with Ms. Michelle even getting some extra towels for us. A great stay!

We had a great stay with friends for our first visit to Smith Mountain Lake. The house had more than enough room for all 10 of us, was very clean, and had plenty of kitchenware for our stay. We really enjoyed the dock/deck, fire pit, and use of the kayaks and paddle boards. Hope to be able to return one day!

Fantastic little hidden cabin that met all of our needs. We loved that it was dog friendly and isolated enough we didnt have to worry about a leash. The solar driveway lights were a great touch as we arrived late. The creek was a lovely suprise, larger than expected. The driveway is gravel and long, tucked in just like we like! Nice decks and seating areas to enjoy the view.

Jonathan’s home was everything and more than what we’d been looking for! He is a true “super host”!! Of all the AirBNBs we’ve stayed in over the years, his truly felt like a home! His home was nestled in a quiet community immediately on the water! We were able to swim and paddle board daily, visited family close by, but had somewhere to retreat to when we were ready to escape! Jonathan was fabulous! Easy to reach, quick to respond, and had LOADS of recommendations for restaurants, stores nearby, and other activities! We felt like heading out towards Kroger made the most sense for one stop shopping and then you can visit the Bridge water marina and some of the cute restaurants and shops near there! Couldn’t recommend staying here more if you’re considering a place to stay!!!

Great place to bring your family and step away from the world. Peaceful and quiet with plenty of room for the whole family!

The cabin was off the road with a great tree line for privacy. The cabin itself was wonderfully renovated with all the modern convinces but with a historic feel. We loved the comfortable beds, fully furnished kitchen and a fun arcade game! The porch was wonderful for having coffee and watching the deer and birds. We would recommend this to anyone and will certainly return! Thank you for a great stay!

Ryan was a great host. Friendly and responsive. I have rented a bunch in places in the last decade and Ryan was the best host and photos match the reality perfectly. My family greatly enjoyed the experience.
