Auchengashell, stunning sea views

The house and grounds are spectacular- with amazing views across the Irish Sea to Cumbria and the Isle of Man. Amazing array of wildlife within the grounds- red squirrels, hares, roe deer, red kites all frequently sighted. The house is so comfortable and very tastefully decorated with very high quality fixtures and fittings. The surrounding area is very beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. One of the very best AirB&Bs we have stayed in, highly recommended.

Woopdpecker - Large Glamping Dome

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an absolutely brilliant time here ! We are a family of four with two small kids having the freedom of camping without all of the logistics and gear made for an amazingly enjoyable couple days. We will most certainly be back! just a side note there is no electric kettle (electricity). It wasn't a problem for us, but perhaps worth knowing beforehand :)

Roseneath Cottage

What a lovely, idyllic cottage in a quiet village, at the foot of beautiful hills. Elizabeth was very friendly and fast to respond to any queries I had. We had a slight issue in the bathroom and Elizabeth was over and had it repaired in less than 30 minutes of reporting it. If you like gardens, it may be small, but this cottage has an absolutely beautiful one, if only it had been a bit warmer I would have been out in it every spare minute I was there, also it is just round the corner to Threave Gardens. I would happily stay here again when visiting family locally. Thank you Elizabeth.

Well, what can we say? Donald was a fab host. The house was absolutely exceptional, immaculately clean and very well equipped. All living areas were very comfortable and each bedroom and bathroom were beautifully presented. It felt very homely and made for a fabulous girls weekend to celebrate. We are already planning our next stay. Thanks Donald

Blackside Cottage in stunning Ayrshire countryside

JacquieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Blackside Cottage. Andrew and Elizabeth couldn't have been more accommodating and they had anticipated all of our needs and gone out of their way to provide everything possible for our dogs too. The cottage is spotlessly clean and tidy with lovely homely touches and a superbly stocked kitchen..We were eating out but I would have been able to cook virtually anything quite happily. The bedroom is roomy and comfortable and the views are lovely. We can thoroughly recommend a stay here and hope to return for a longer stay soon.

Beautiful, peaceful, remote stay. great accommodation with lovely additional touches (fresh flowers), as eco conscious as advertised (eco friendly soap etc and a compost loo). Right next to a charming river with swimming spots. Wish we'd stayed longer than 1 night.
