Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. A lovely, beautiful little house on a small peak. Beautiful views to both fjord, lake and mountains. Here you can enjoy the silence and the view undisturbed in a sheltered environment. This unique house was also on the TV series program "Time for Home" on TV2 in 2019. There they refurbished the kitchen and dining room. If the dates you want are not available, or if you want a longer stay, you can contact me by message when you book and I may be able to extend the availability.

The farm is located on Osterøy, an island surrounded by fjords. 35 minutes from Bergen city. Little valley with small farms, nice landscape with fields, hills and high mountains. Lot of small roads for walking and easy access to the mountains. You can enjoy the big garden with trampoline, and treehouse-cottage and bicycles/tractors for the children. You can find fresh eggs in the morning and see new-born lambs in the fields in the spring.

We stayed for two days and were really happy!!!! The hosts are very hospitable. When we, tired from the road, entered the house, we were greeted with coziness, cleanliness, warmth and comfort. For the youngest child there were even a number of exciting board games, which he was very happy with. And the view of the fjord from the terrace is simply amazing!!!!! We really didn't want to leave and if possible we would gladly came back again.🤗🤗🤗

This place is 11 out of 10!! A place of dreams. The location and house are absolutely stunning and Mette and Kristian are beyond fabulous hosts always going above and beyond! Our favorite parts of the stay: kayaking in the morning sunlight around the little inlets, fishing from the dock, a sunset sauna or hot tub followed by a fjord cold plunge/swim, relaxing on the deck with a beer, sipping coffee while watching the birds and listening to the waves lap against the dock, cooking in the well stocked kitchen and more. We will be back!!!

Perfect stay for us during our exploration of the fjords. Had plenty of comfy beds, modern renovated bathroom with a washer and dryer, and the added perk of heated floors downstairs. Was also nestled in the most lovely valley. Couldn’t ask for more!

What a wonderful place to stay and friendly people! The cottage is beautifully maintained: it has the charm of an authentic house, but is equipped with all modern comforts. The garden is a dream, with unobstructed views and a long table where you can eat or relax perfectly outside in good weather. The surroundings are breathtaking. Directly from the cottage you can take beautiful walks overlooking the lake. Highly recommended, we'd love to come back!
