Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. New cabin with amazing view

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. A new and very homely cabin with some of the best views at Skeikampen. In winter time you have direct access to the cross country ski track directly from the porch. An excellent location for some moutain peace and quiet with beautiful hiking and cross-country conditions. Also includes a small sauna, cabin office possibilities, nice dinners and outside evening on the decking around the cabin. Plenty of parking space also.

The cabin is a brand new high standard cabin from Blåne. The cabin has all amenities such as internet, electric car charger, TV, heating in kitchen/living room, hallway and bathroom, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. In this place, your family can stay close to everything, the location is central. Immediate proximity to ski trails, Skeikampen ski arena, Joker (supermarket) and only 2 km to Skeikampen alpine ski resort.

This was a wonderful place to stay. An authentically historic home with the beauty of old wood, the original large pine table and working old hearth. Yet it had all the comforts we expect and was spotlessly clean. There were several additional historic buildings on the large working farm. The view from the dining table and either porch is breathtaking. Best for us was Inga’s exceptional friendliness and the invaluable help she gave us in tracking down information on local family heritage. A reminder to bring your own shower toiletries. Exceptional place to stay!

Very lovely stay, hope to come back one day ! The house is really magical and everything was as clean and functional. The water has a bit of a taste, like some other guests noted, so we brought a few bottles with us just for drinking and it was no problem. Bente left us some delicious home-made biscuits for our arrival. It was easy to access and park. It snowed a lot, but everything was regularly plowed. Thank you for everything !

We enjoyed our stay at Inger's house. It is very spacious, well furnished and very clean. The kitchen is very tidy and there is everything you need. The house has a large garden with a playhouse, which has made our children very happy. Parking was available right in front of the house on the premises. Inger sent a lot of information in advance about things to do in the area and was always easily accessible. Everything was perfect and we recommend this place, especially for families. Thank you!

We felt right at home. The house is beautifully situated above Favang with a great view. We were greeted nicely and had everything we needed. Communication with Julia was excellent. We had enough wood for the stove to make ourselves comfortable. We were able to spend a nice week skiing. For cross-country skiing, Hafjell is better suited and also only 30 minutes away. We will be happy to come back.

What a lovely home. Our family loved our stay at Petter’s house. We had everything we needed, great location, beautiful surroundings, easy parking. My kids were very sad when we had to leave.

Gunhild was extremely communicative and even took time out of her day to meet us and give us a few recommendations. A lovely space in a lovely place!

10 person holiday home in svingvoll-by traum

The house is lovely and has easy access to cross country skiing. It is well decorated and you quickly feel at home in the very personal house that is really cozy decorated. It's clean and tidy and plenty of space. The host family is helpful and responds quickly should there be a need for help with the house or area. All in all a really good experience to be in Skei and stay in the cabin here. We would love to come back!
