Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. With 300 meters to the fine sandy beaches of the Gulf of Victory and 900 meters to the Kattegat on the north side of Odden, there is ample opportunity for beautiful walks by the water, swimming and a lot of different nature experiences. We have designed the cottage for coziness and relaxation. With a fireplace, 2 sofas, armchair and a large dining area, even bad weather can be enjoyed in the summerhouse. Our private oasis directly by the water, stylish and simply furnished with multiple terraces. Located in quiet surroundings extremely on Gniben directly towards Sejerøbugten, and with west-facing terrace it means many beautiful sunsets. The house was built in 2016 and extended in 2019 with patio and sauna building. Outdoor shower, which makes it easy to rinse off salt after a morning dip. 5 min drive to a gourmet baker as well as 10 min drive to the Harbour City where you will find an exquisite fish shop.
