The Coach House - Lyth Valley by LetMeStay

TillyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Such a gorgeous stay away in Cumbria, the place was so tidy and cozy, it had everything you could need - so many amenities! It is located inbetween other buildings but still managed to feel very private, and had stunning views around. It is quite remote and is single track roads down to the property however the hosts were really clear and answered any questions about where we can park etc. It is also only a short drive to either Kendal or Windermere, so really convenient location for a nice day out! We can’t thank the hosts enough for such a lovely stay, would definitely recommend ☺️

Nic’s place provided the perfect base for exploring the Lake District without a car. It’s a 2 minute walk from a bus stop where you can catch the local bus to the Kendal bus station, where the bus to Lake District destinations departs from. I’ve never been so well-received by an AirBnB host as I was by Nic’s parents, and their care and attentiveness was a welcome contrast to the increasingly impersonal nature of AirBnB stays. From offering me rides to and from the train station, to providing trail recommendations, to leaving fresh strawberries from the garden at the doorstep, they went above and beyond as hosts. I felt that they genuinely love the region and that they want their guests to have the best possible time there. If I ever go back, I hope to stay with them again!

Frosthwaite farm The stables

ClaraRating, 5 stars1 day ago
A gem of a place with lots to do around within walking distance and by car. Never ending walks in the stunning countryside and a spacious but cozy and comfortable place, larger than it looks in photos. We were never disturbed by the stables but got to enjoy seeing the friendly horses. Helen's guidebook was spot on and helped us prioritise what sights to see and was clearly happy to help with anything one could need while at her place. Could not recommend enough!

Bedsit Kendal Town Centre

It’s a GREAT place to stay, I’ll definitely come again! The accommodation itself is good. It’s clean and tidy, with a decent place to work, quiet and friendly neighbour, and all the facilities I need. The hosts are so nice and friendly! The location is convenient as well, it’s not too far from the railway station, Iceland supermarket, library and the Kendal castle, and it only takes about 40 min to get to windermere.
