Waterfront vacation rentals in Sintra

Had a great stay in a great location. Would say not really suitable for anyone with walking disability as very hilly. Location was great with a 10 minute walk down to river. We used uber and cabs to get back up. Take trainers or shoes with grip as pavements are slippery 😳

Joana’s home is the perfect location to explore Lisbon. It is very close to a lot of shopping and tourist attractions. There are tons of restaurants options available within close proximity. I would love to stay in Joana’s home again when I come back to Lisbon.

We loved our stay at this beautiful apartment. Not only does it provide the amenities as listed but they also have beach toys and things to use. The apartment was so comfortable and a wonderful place to watch the world go by. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot say enough wonderful things about the apartment. (The only thing to be careful of is the apartment is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Not a problem for us but might be for some. )

What fantastic water views! This was a great home for 3 adults to each have their own bedrooms +bathrooms. It was very clean, and the hosts provided great local recommendations. If you are good with walking lots of stairs to reach this penthouse, the water views are worth it

I would recommend this apartment for those looking for a hostel in a very nice not noisy neighborhood. Close to the center, 5-6 euros by taxi) The apartment is as described. Clean and neat. A beautiful terrace has a wonderful view of the river and the neighborhood. We enjoyed everything, no downside, so to recommend.

Antije's small attic is an intimate, quiet place, overlooking the Tagus and the city's rooftops. Located in a very central area, close to 5 minutes from the bus, Apolonia station, and the subway. Antije is a perfect host. Very kind, ready to give advice based on the needs of the guest, advice on what to do in the evening and where to dine, advice on cultural events taking place during the days of stay. One thing that is worth more than all, which were also perfect, is the very comfortable bed. It's not easy to find super comfortable beds, but the one in Antije's house is!

The place is amazing and well worth the price. There were some issues with Cristina not receiving my messages, however through phone we managed to communicate everything perfectly.

Probably one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Patricia was extremely helpful for whatever is needed and very flexible with check in times. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Overall a fantastic experience

Great place for our family Xmas stay. Comfortable, modern decorated and well equipped. Very well located at walking distance to the beach, restaurants and local market / shops. Elsa is a friendly and responsive host.

Maria's place is beautiful. A secluded spot close to the coast. Great restaurants nearby. We had a great time and would recommend!

We really had a great time at Madalenas place! The house is huge with three baths and three beds, all with access to the sunny, private deck and the really nice pool. The perfect spot for a summer vacation, with a lot of nice beaches close by and all necessary shops and restaurants in walking distance.

The house was bigger than the pictures and well laid out. The location was very close to the beach and restaurants of Praia Grande. It was a great fit for our family of 10. The CadenzaLux team was fabulous to work with. They were very responsive and made check in/out easy. They arranged a private chef for half of our evenings, which was a highlight of our trip. There is one downside to the house however: construction on houses on both sides. This negatively impacted our stay for a couple of days due to construction related fires on those properties. The smoke crossed into the yard making the pool unusable & clothes on the dry line smell like smoke. Windows had to remain closed for those days. The noise of construction was not an issue because of the concrete build of the house. These issues were completely out of CadenzaLux’s control and they did all they could to ameliorate them. It should not be held against them but should be considered when booking while construction is ongoing.

I went with my whole family including my elderly parents and my children. We met Vasco at the door and he was very kind and helpful. We had a few issues with a taxi driver whom tried to rip us off and over charge us enroute to our accommodation. Luckily Vasco was there when we arrived at the place and he spoke to them and helped us out! Vasco always replied back when we needed advise or help. The place was beautiful it was very specious and the view of the sea was absolutely breathtaking from the living room. We would all eat at the table and admire the beautiful view it was so peaceful. The neighborhood was also full of friendly people. The children loved it too! Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Duques Villa. Completely renovated historic property with plenty of room for two and all the modern conveniences. Extremely clean and comfortable. Relaxing outdoor area shaded by fruit trees with view of the river. Our host Lucinda was friendly, proactive, and responsive. Short drive or invigorating walk to city center. Recommended!

Luis's apartment is the best. The truth is that it is well located, in front of the beach, you are a maximum of 20 minutes by Uber from downtown Lisbon, you have supermarkets nearby and also a sushi restaurant right next door that is amazing. So when you return to Lisbon, Luis's apartment is the place.

The apartment is modern, well equipped and clean. It's in a handy location for the airport, the Oriente railway and bus stations, and the Metro. Vitaliano and Nara were excellent hosts - always helpful, responsive and friendly.

The apartment is great, spacious, comfortable with a beautiful view over the sea. Very luminous and bright. Pedro and Teresa were really accommodating as I arrived late. Definitely recommended!

This was the perfect location and such a cute and comfortable stay! Ameri and Andrè were fabulous hosts! The place was very clean and nice! BONUS it has an elevator and AC!! It was extremely spacious and plenty of room for our party of 4! Would absolutely recommend!

Great location with a great place to watch the sunset at the end of the road. Barbara was quick and always responsive. Sometimes noise late at night but this was due to the celebrations for St Anthony and Portugal day and was quiet on the other evenings. Noise also during the day due to building works opposite but we were out all day and didn't bother us. Overall a great place to stay, lovely apartment, great location and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon!

We had a lovely stay at this apartment with our two small children and recommend it highly! The space is well-furnished and everything was very clean when we arrived. The bedding was so comfortable that I had to see where they came from so I can order my own, and the upstairs AC unit worked very well. The host even left some lovely snacks for us and toys for my kids to play with. The stairs were definitely challenging because we had a baby and stroller with us to carry up and down each time, but I think the amenities and view are worth the climb. Would absolutely recommend this property and host, thanks you!

Fantastic location close to lots of great restaurants and bars. Handy also to luggage storage if you have a late flight out as we did. Totally recommend and also Flora and Fauna - 30 metres up the street for a fantastic breakfast
