José and Dorita were very kind, we had a wonderful time exploring Monteverde from their location. We are avid birders and knocked a few goals off our list from the back porch. It is privately located, but we were in walking distance to a small grocery store and several great restaurants for dinner. The house itself is beautiful, with wonderful skylights and big windows for viewing the nature outside. Would recommend!

I was looking for last minute accommodations and host went above and beyond to meet my needs. She was extremely prompt in responding. I had mentioned i was celebrating my birthday and she quickly and very beautiful had the room ready and decorated. The view is breathtaking, the jacuzzi. The restaurant next door had really good authentic coffee and food and the people were very very nice. Thank you I would highly recommend if you are going to be in this area BOOK this place!!! It’s a whole vibe

Beautiful place and responsive host with plenty of local recommendations! Place genuinely feels like being in a luxury hotel in the middle of the rainforest complete with a hanging bridge and stream right outside to soothe the senses. Would highly recommend a stay at Jimmy's place if visiting Fortuna!

While many other reviews mentioned it, I’ll have to note here again: the view is amazing. I enjoy taking so many photos through out our trip as the view is spectacular and it chnages quickly at different times, different weather. The weather has been kind to us so it only rained very hard mostly at night and few hours in the afternoon (mid June). Sitting out on the deck in the morning is peaceful and not too cold. All of the descriptions are accurate. The road coming here is rough but so is almost everywhere else in Monteverde. Definitely one of the best Airbnb places we’ve been.
