If you are looking for peace in nature and in the Eifel, upscale amenities, just want to feel at home... Then this is the place to be!! We had 4 unforgettable days together with our daughter and dog. The location is perfect for rest and very private. If you travel with dogs, you have to adjust to hiking up and down, typical of the Eifel, but that's what makes the Eifel and we were used to it anyway. Unfortunately, there is no garden for the dogs, but we knew that and it did not bother us, the walks were all the more beautiful! For this, the terrace behind the house was perfect for lounging, eating at the long table and very private. A highlight for young and old. The hot tub invites you to relax in the evenings for two, where you can relax and the sauna is very pleasant after a long walk. The couch and beds are very comfortable and the view is perfect! Cooking, grilling, stowing the ice cream... Everything is there :)! We will be back!

We stayed for over a week on our trip to the Nurburgring and it was a calm and nice place to stay at. Jacuzzi was nice and everything else was just as advertized. Recommend this place to others.

Great value, basic stay at a calm campsite. Quiet, nice restaurant at the camping and with the Rupertsklamm (great hike) at 5 minutes walking distance. Bed needs some attention though since it is squeaking a lot and pay attention to warming the water for showering 15 minutes in advance. Basic kitchen gear is there. If you really like coffee I would suggest taking a V60/Aeropress.

Hello, my stay with Martina was very pleasant. Private parking almost right outside the front door, very close to nature, and direct access to fields and forests due to the location on the outskirts. The house is fully equipped; it lacks nothing, and it is extremely quiet. Martina is a very nice and helpful hostess who is always available and has extremely short response times. If needed, I will be happy to come back again.

Our stay in the log cabin "Fledermaus" fully met our expectations. The quiet location, the charming furnishings and the walking distance to excursion destinations as well as supply options have made our getaway an all-around great experience. Absolutely recommended for a holiday in the Eifel!

for an overnight stay with our 2 dogs we ended up at this cottage.. we asked if we could come a little earlier and that was no problem. The cottage is on a kind of holiday park and it was fairly busy with hikers. The cottage is comfortable, clean and equipped with everything we needed. After 1800 hours, the hikers were away and it was wonderfully quiet . The area is beautiful for hiking. People are friendly. Contact with owner was good. We genuinely enjoyed it. cottage is recommended.

The log cabin is in a great location with a unique view. We enjoyed the tranquility and the view from the terrace very much. It was fantastic. The log cabin is very well equipped for 2 people. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.

We were welcomed with fresh bread and eggs. A bottle of wine rounded it off. We had set out to relax for 3 days and unwind. This was absolutely successful. We didn't lack anything. The Waldseepfad Rieden is highly recommended for an extended hike. The hallway to the in-house sauna is a must-see. All in all, a wonderful weekend

We had a very nice weekend in the accommodation right on the edge of the forest. Parking was available directly below the cabin and we were able to go hiking directly from there. The place had everything you need. Sebastian welcomed us in a very friendly way and also gave us tips for the surroundings :)

The log cabin is very nice and cozy with a great fireplace. The area invites you to hike and is very quiet. The cabin and the complex are well-maintained and tidy. We have nothing to complain about. We'll gladly come back. With best regards,

Fine and well-equipped cottage, nice and close to the lake. Bakery at 15-20 min walking distance, supermarkets 10-20 min by car. We were there with our baby and toddler, and had a wonderful time there! For other parents of young children, it's worth noting: - there is a good camping bed, but bring your own mattress + fitted sheet. The "master bedroom" has little space around the bed, so if you want to sleep in one room with your baby is improvising - the lake is nice and cooling. However, it is deep directly from the deck, so definitely bring swimming pools. The lake does not have a beach or bank where you can play at the waterfront - there is a nice playground across the lake where you can walk in a few minutes, and the village of Rieden nearby also has a small playground - we found in one of the cupboards a nice flyer with nice walks suitable for children (Traumpfädchen), recommended!
