Ferguson valley is definitely a hidden gem! the house was so beautiful with the rammed earth and high ceilings. Lovely fireplace. Rob took us to feed the cows. Definite highlight of the trip. The birds (magpies were so friendly) the serenity is something you will won’t encounter anywhere else. Felt so relaxed. Best getaway I have ever had! Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay—it’s a private and peaceful spot right on the lake. The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having access to the kayaks was a great bonus, and we really enjoyed kayaking on the beautiful lake. Only wished we could’ve got a booking when it was warmer weather so we could have gone swimming too. Hopefully next time!

Such a lovely weekend off grid at Honeymoon Hideaway, we love that there is no signal so we can switch off in nature. We also loved the baby lambs outside the bedroom window. Thanks for another great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was central for Collie and a variety of swimming holes. The kangaroos were a highlight and we enjoyed walking around the property. The accommodation is simple but has everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water. We were out for the whole day each day that we were there so didn’t get to experience the cellar door and restaurant- maybe another time 😊

My family stayed in Mayfield House over the Easter holidays, and we all loved the expertly renovated cottage and peaceful location. Every room in the cottage was beautifully presented, with comfortable beds and soothing colours. The kitchen was fully equipped with an impressively large stove and oven. The bathroom was very luxurious with a rainshower. My family especially loved the large screen tv with streaming services, and all the books and board games. I highly recommend Mayfield House for a family getaway!

It is the second time that I go with my partner to Louisa's house because the first time we loved the house and the experience and this second time everything has gone wonderful again. We love the house, we have especially enjoyed the fireplace and the garden, it is a very quiet area and the surroundings have a lot of charm, there are many options for trails. We recommend the house 100% and hopefully we can return to it.
