Vacation rentals with lake access in Shawinigan

We had a great stay at this chalet. The environment is very quiet and relaxing, if we could have stayed longer, we would have! The listing was as described. Kayaks and pedal boats are perfect for a short ride on the lake! Antoine was very responsive and available. Thanks for the great stay!!

Place has a beautiful scenery & outdoor lake patio. Nurtured spot in the woods worth visiting any season of the year. Jacques was pleasant to speak too and generous. would surely visit once again.

I highly recommend the place - interiors excellent, host very friendly and to the point, surroundings are serene and tranquil. Space wise, it’s not for more than 11 people in my opinion. 5 dedicated bedrooms for 2 persons each and then 1 more bedroom in the basement but the bed is wall to wall, so good enough for 1 bachelor. Really good couches but wouldn’t recommend them to sleep overnight unless you’re trying to cut on budget. Definitely didn’t feel like it’s good enough for 19 people as advertised, good that we were just 12 with a kid. In a nutshell, bet your money on it if you’re planning a peaceful vacation for 11 people. Thanks Renato!

We loved this chalet facing the lake, it was so nice to have this calm after traveling several cities. The place is just beautiful, we were blown away! The rooms are really great! The bathroom with bath and shower is great. The living room is tastefully decorated, super comfortable sofa. There's even an electric fireplace that heats the living room a lot! There is a patio with mosquito net which is convenient for eating outside without being eaten by mosquitoes. On the other hand, there is no network in the city, so remember to write down the Airbnb access code so you don't get locked out.

Beautiful cottage, well equipped. Large windows let in the sun, a beautiful terrace for aperitifs, a spa to relax, a slide to entertain the little ones. We loved it.

Me and my family had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful house! The home was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities I could have asked for. Waking up to the stunning view of Lake Chenin from the house was truly a highlight and made the experience even more special. Beautiful home and stunning location, the pictures don’t do the Airbnb justice! Perfect place for a relaxed weekend away. The location is set right in the middle of a wooded area next to a small lake so the bugs are numerous (to be expected when in nature), so make sure to pack lots of bug repellent and afterbite cream!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Eliana’s place. It is in a beautiful setting and the house was lovely and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace and exploring the frozen lake. We would love to stay again.

Very nice cottage, well maintained, very clean and everything is there.

We came for a few days as a couple to rest. The space is a safe haven. It is very well equipped, the bedding is very comfortable. The accommodation is well thought out and communication with the hosts before and during made the stay all the more enjoyable. This is by far our best Airbnb experience. We'll be back with pleasure if we have a chance.

House combining charm and comfort. Despite an earlier arrival than expected, Marie-Pier welcomed us with kindness. Peaceful neighborhood with nearby services. Portneuf Regional Park 25 minutes away where hiking and canoeing await you at very attractive prices (just don't forget the mosquito repellent). Excellent stay

The place is magic!! We had a beautiful stay. Very clear instructions, the view from the Chalet is just something else! Comfortable beds, lots of towels, essentials in the kitchen. We had everything we needed. The only negative perhaps is the cleaning.... we had to pass the broom for the whole chalet because there were more than 200 ladybugs inside, mostly dead on the floors, and we also had to clean the grill. There was hair in the jacuzzi upstairs and the furniture on the main floor could use a bit of cleaning. But everything else was simply amazing. If you come with small kids, be aware there is no security for the stairs, looks like once there was, but not anymore. The lake was still frozen, but espectacular view from the deck and the place next to the lake to spend time when the weather allows has everything you need. I would definitely repeat.

The house is extremely cozy. The amenities are enough and convenient. The view and the waterfront are sublime. Hosts are accommodating. Despite the proximity to the 155, the site is very quiet.
