We had a great time staying here for our family celebration. The house and garden are well equipped. Good location, especially for evening walks to see amazing sunsets. Sarah was so helpful accommodating our requests and recommending local places to eat. This is such a good starting point for visits around the island.

Wonderful house in a terrific, peaceful location. The house and gardens are idyllic, and we loved spending time in the hedged gardens in the evening sun after playing tennis. The house is within easy access of all the best landmarks of the New Forest and also bang on the coast. The interior of the house has great style and charm and is a great place to spend time in.

We really enjoyed this cozy and very clean house. We feel like being home from the first day. Location was great as well as we spent time by the sea each morning. But it did not take us too long to get to the town centre. Ventnor has quite a few highlights to explore. Everything was within walking distance from the house. Book this accommodation, you will be very happy!

We had a fantastic stay during May half term with the kids - the house is stunning, even better than the photos and the view is spectacular. The house has a very high -end finish to it and had everything you could wish for in terms of amenities. We look forward to visiting again sometime soon

The cottage is in a great location, very well appointed (especially the kitchen) and very clean. The bed is comfortable with good quality linen. The garden is a great space to relax in with sun and shade (we were fortunate with the weather!) and is dog safe. Keith and Paula provided lots of lovely touches such as beautiful fresh flowers, drinks in the fridge, dog towels and bowls. There are two local pubs within walking distance (about a mile and a bit it) The location is great as you can access the coast and forest walks very easily. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage, we had a lovely stay there.

Great central location with beautiful view of the water. Perfect for the long weekend and great nightlife for our two daughters to enjoy. Some really nice touches like the bifold window to fully appreciate the view, plenty of kitchen utensils and very well laid out home. Thanks for a great stay.

Lisa is a fantastic host. Very fast to respond and very friendly. We were kept up to date with everything ahead of arriving which made life easier. Lisa put up some balloons and bunting for my partners birthday which was lovely and there was also a hamper of goodies … plus, a pint of milk in the fridge to start us off. There were loads of towels available to use (bonus!) plus bedding and tea towels, washing up liquid, and coffee pods etc. The location is great too … minutes from town but the road outside is so quiet and peaceful.

Fantastic modern lodge, very well equipped with everything you would likely need, spacious and beautifully decorated throughout. Peaceful site, dog friendly (dogs to be kept on leads which is a huge plus) and we would 100% recommend a stay here. We will be back!

We were looking for somewhere in the New Forest area to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. This house was perfect for us all, 8 adults and 5 grandchildren. The house is in a beautiful, quiet location which is exactly what we wanted. The house has everything you need and more, fully fitted kitchen with massive island and dinning table. All rooms were spotless as well as the many toilets and bathrooms. We stayed in the master bedroom which is very tastefully decorated. The swimming pool was a big bonus, perfect size and depth for our Grandchildren and very warm. It also had a padlocked gate to keep the little ones out when playing in the garden. Our host Katie was brilliant from start to finish keeping us updated on the stay and very responsive to messages. She provided a welcome food pack of sausages, bacon, bread and essentials which was really appreciated. Katie even took the time to let our grandchildren help her feed her horses. Can’t wait to return!

wow, we had such an amazing time at Neil's caravan. He was super quick to respond and extremely helpful. even got our ferry tickets for us. It was a wonderful surprise to have milk, tea and biscuits, along with other little surprises. Would highly recommend and we may book for 2 years time for the 2027 IOW festival. Thank you.

We loved staying in the boathouse. Ideal for a family with children. Wonderful location looking over the creek . We didn’t hear the ferry which is 5 minutes away. We liked the sound of children playing on the other side of the creek. The pool area was recently upgraded. The property is well equipped and comfortable. Catherine was an excellent host who looked after every detail professionally.

Clean, well presented and easy to find. Hosts were friendly, replied quick and allowed us flexible check in as we were arriving late. Served well as a good base while we stayed for Walk the Wight. Thank you!

Really loved our stay. The lodge was immaculate and exactly as described. Pet friendly especially the enclosed veranda wrapping round the lodge. Wendy was lovely, greeting us upon arrival to ensure all was well and answer any questions. Well equipped in all rooms and extremely comfortable with lots of storage. We had a really lovely break at Caribbean Corner which is in a beautiful location just above Priory Bay and an easy walk along to Seaview. Everything was as described and the outdoor hot shower was great!

Brenda, Gary and family were friendly, welcoming and responsive - nothing was too much trouble. The annexe was well equipped and comfortable and the hosts provided some lovely extra touches which were much appreciated. It was in a good location and a good base to get around the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to go home!

Friendly and responsive hosts , helpful information prior to arrival. Fabulous accommodation, bright, spacious and maintained to an excellent standard with plenty of attention to detail. Quality fixtures and fittings, comfy beds and bedding. Fantastic views from bedrooms and lounge, enjoyed morning coffee from the Nespresso with a view from bed! Nice thought providing welcome treats too. Walking distance to good cafes and restaurants, easy access to beaches and coastal path. Would definitely stay here again. Central yet very quiet.

This is our second stay at Longwood Edge and we loved it just as much the second time round. It’s a fabulous home in a great location. Really well laid out with everything you could possibly need. We absolutely love the open plan living space, it’s great for spending time with friends and family. The outside space is great too, a lovely spot for a drink and relaxing. It’s a peaceful location but only a few minutes drive from both Ventnor and Shanklin. I would definitely recommend it.

Jasmin was a very responsive communicator, as well as accommodating, helpful and friendly. The listing was all that we expected and we were thrilled with its view, how compact, lovely and clean it was. The proximity to the beach and shops/ restaurants was a fairly short walk which added to the ease of seeing things in the area. We would definitely choose to stay again if we went back.

Echoing other reviews, this is an absolutely stunning place. I totally fell in love with it - so unique, full of character, beautifully done up, and with everything needed for a stay. Such fun being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the sea. Thanks for a truly fab stay.
