Vacation rentals with breakfast in Shanklin

Had an amazing stay! Lesley has provided us with clear and very detailed instructions on getting to the place, as well as greeting us on arrival. We are thankful to the provisions and essentials granted and would 100% recommend this place!

We were looking for somewhere in the New Forest area to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. This house was perfect for us all, 8 adults and 5 grandchildren. The house is in a beautiful, quiet location which is exactly what we wanted. The house has everything you need and more, fully fitted kitchen with massive island and dinning table. All rooms were spotless as well as the many toilets and bathrooms. We stayed in the master bedroom which is very tastefully decorated. The swimming pool was a big bonus, perfect size and depth for our Grandchildren and very warm. It also had a padlocked gate to keep the little ones out when playing in the garden. Our host Katie was brilliant from start to finish keeping us updated on the stay and very responsive to messages. She provided a welcome food pack of sausages, bacon, bread and essentials which was really appreciated. Katie even took the time to let our grandchildren help her feed her horses. Can’t wait to return!

Loved everything about my stay here, not even close to a bad word to say. Joanna and Dave were exemplary hosts, kind and caring, super informative, eager to assist with anything and I was made to feel right at home the second I walked through the door. I was able to put a much needed wash on too. For an inexperienced lone cyclist I couldn’t have wished for anything more than a nice homely atmosphere to settle into after a gruesome day on the road. The art work throughout the house is very impressive, not to mention the house itself being a work of art. The room was beautiful with a lovely view, all the facilities spot on. Breakfast in the morning was clean and delicious, set me up perfectly for another day on the road. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, price is insanely low for what you get. Left with a nice big grin on my face, favourite stay to date.

Rachel was an excellent host. Rachel and her husband were very welcoming and gave lots of useful advice! They also were very flexible letting us keep our bags at the place for the day. Overall and excellent stay and would highly recommend!

Lovely clean property and a stone throw from the village high street which had lovely Pubs and shops. Lovely area to walk your dogs if you have any. Throughly enjoyable stay

This was our first Airbnb stay and we were apprehensive as we've heard mixed reviews. However Roxanne and our stay was amazing !!! We really enjoyed the location and gorgeous sunset beach walks. The place was so welcoming, cosy and homely and had everything we needed and more ! Importantly to us it was dog friendly - both Roxanne and the neighbours made us and our puppy feel welcome. I'm sure we will be back and look forward to seeing you again. thank you so much for sharing your home with us xx

Really enjoyed our stay. The barn was beautiful. The beds were really comfortable. The welcome hamper was amazing, cracking wine 🍷 🙏🏻 Alison was friendly and checks in on us while giving us plenty of space too. A really great base to explore West Sussex and Hampshire. Easy to find and tons to do locally. Thanks for a lovely stay 🙏🏻

Lovely lemon cottage! It was perfect location and the cottage was nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

From the moment we booked our stay Luke was quick to interact with us. He was very polite and friendly. Also accommodating for our requirements. The Squirrels Nest was very clean and well equipped for our stay. We were asked if everything was to our liking and should we need anything just ask; we were then just left to enjoy ourselves…. Great stay with some beautiful walks and areas of outstanding beauty. Would definitely recommend.

Een fijn appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt. Een prachtige badkamer met fijne regendouche en handdouche. Het bed was ook top, we hebben goed geslapen. Het enige om rekening mee te houden is dat je een paar trappen omhoog moet. Vanuit het appartement is het museum The D-Day Story op loopafstand en het bezoeken waard. In 35 minuten lopen ben je bij The Spinnaker Tower en Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. In de buurt van het appartement zijn voldoende restaurants en een supermarkt. Het is een fijne plek om te verblijven. Wij hebben genoten.

We had a lovely stay at Diana’s and would definitely stay again. Nothing was too much trouble, Hythe village is walkable and the apartment was lovely - extremely well appointed and even better than the photos.

We had a relaxing couple of nights at Jehu Tait's lovely apartment in Woolston. The location was very quiet and relaxing, with amenities within walking distance, and the apartment itself was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. Jehu was friendly, responsive and prompt with communication and answering questions. We would definitely stay here again.

You can treat yourself with a fab sea view in that opulent bedroom and maybe with the only organic breakfast on the island plus having a good chat with your host if you wish … . Thank you AJ.

Pamela, is a great host met us at property and showed us around, lovely postion in Old Portsmouth close to all areas. We loved watching the shipping movements from the lounge, would use again if still available having use of the garage was great.

Stayed for work nearby in Portsmouth city centre. The flat was a thirty second walk to the beach nearby, round the corner from a co-op and very near to some really nice Southsea shops, cafes and restaurants. The flat itself was very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and cosy living space. Having a balcony with seating was lovely to use in the sunshine and see the sea! It was a quiet area and we had a very comfortable stay.

Portsmouth is a great place the flat was perfect for four of us which comprised of me and three 18 year old girls .everything you need is nearby or short walks and plenty to do your bassicly in the middle of it all . We had a great time and this was my first airbnb and was very impressed with the whole experience and great hosting I will be back

Un véritable manoir anglais, ancien presbytère, à la décoration digne de l'époque Victorienne... Et une vue magique sur les bateaux sur l'eau. On se croirait dans Orgueil et Préjugés : chaque objet et pièce est d'une décoration choisie et le jardin foisonne de plantes et arbres. J'ai été accueillie comme en famille par June, qui a ponctué mon séjour de charmantes attentions. Un petit déjeuner digne de Downton Abbey, sur vaisselle d'Angleterre et face au jardin en fleurs m'a même été préparé... Tout est à disposition dans les chambres et même davantage : mini frigo rempli par l'hôte avec attention, gâteaux, thé/café, chaussons, serviettes... J'ai été choyée comme à la maison. Merci encore pour ce séjour féerique !

Before arrival the host checked if we had any dietary needs to cater for. We were given more info to find the BnB; which helped! The host and dogs greeted us on arrival and we were shown to our room, en-suite and a shared fridge (fresh milk and cold water). The bedroom was clean, spacious and well lit. Amenities included a kettle, hot drink options, cups and a mosquito net over the bed; it was a hot weekend. There was also a booklet which gave us some background on our hosts, local map information, walking routes as well as a nice short cut to the local pub. The breakfast options were aplenty and it felt like everything was homemade. The host’s garden area is incredible; they keep bees, an enclosed vegetable patch and that’s all we could see in the front area! There was a lounge area and access to the rear garden for guests but admittedly we spent most of our time out exploring. Would highly recommend if you want a quiet weekend away or explore The New Forest.

Wow what a lady, accommodation is absolutely fantastic just as described but better, with a view to die for while having breakfast, I actually messed up our booking and was a night short with nowhere to stay, pip came to the rescue and managed to fit us in for another night she was a life saver (and we didn't have to sleep on the village green) thank you very much pip we will be back..

Wow !!!! Absolutely amazing, Jill & Ian are fantastic hosts, such a stunning house in a beautiful setting, made us feel welcome, cannot recommend this highly enough, looking forward to returning soon.

Amy and Ian were all around fantastic hosts. Their place was lovely and is situated in a splendid location inside the new forest National park. There is fantastic walks right on their doorstep as well as a lovely pub just a 10 minute walk away. We also did the extra animal experience which was lots of fun and would highly recommend to anyone staying here. This is an absolute gem of an air b and b. Thanks Amy and Ian!

Hot tub was amazing along with bbq and fire pit and there was nothing you wouldn’t do for us honestly, you were both so kind with every thing you done for us the last 2 nights, so unexpected but amazing! And those croissants were sooo good, nice and hot mmm lovely to wake you to! Will come back again soon. Hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day Angie. ☺️❤️

Just wanted to say how amazing Sophie has been from start to finish. We booked this one year in advance and Sophie was always on hand with any questions. Probably one of the best service we had ever. The place Sophie has is beautiful. The photos do not do this place justice. We thank you for such an amazing safe space to visit.

Melissa’s place was ideal for our first day trip to the Isle of Wight Festival as it was close to the main Cowes pick up/drop off points. The room was very comfortable and the full English breakfast was lovely. Melissa gave very clear instructions about self check in and even gave us a lift to the chain ferry when my friend was struggling and we couldn’t get a taxi. Thanks for having us stay.
