Dollywood Pigeon Forge 25 minutes and Gatlinburg ski resort 40 minutes drive. The area offers plenty of fun to make your visit an unforgettable one. And when you’re done running around you can relax by the lake (when the water is high in the summer months) or enjoy a romantic evening by the indoor fire place.

Bring all your water toys and dock your boat or swim in the cove using our pontoon as point of access to lake. Gourmet kitchen and large outdoor flat top grill make cooking fun. This cozy cabin sleeps 4 and is nestled in the hills of Lake Douglas. With mountain views and lake front access, you'll have time to relax, fish, boat, kayak and view the mountains from the back porch. 25 minutes from Pigeon Forge (Dollywood) and 45 minutes from Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain Nation Park. There is no shortage of things to do in this area, but while you're back at the cabin, you'll be happy you chose Shady Shore. *The lake water level is low from Sept to Mid April*
