Welcome to Karterud, a small neighborhood on the Segerstad Peninsula. The house is located amidst ecological fields, surrounded by berries and mushrooms in summer and autumn. It takes a 12 minute walk to get to the Vänern lake where you can take a swim. The house has its own water well and heatpump. In the Segerstad area you can find many historical find locations which go back to the stone age and later. This indicates people inhabiting this area for a long time with it’s productive land.

A 140 cm bed, an 80 cm bed and a sofa that can be slept on. Small kitchenette for simple cooking, stove, fridge, microwave & coffee maker. Dining area for two people/workspace. Charming and cozy country house, where you can live all year round. An idyllic place where you can relax, close to forest, lakes, nature reserves and fantastic chanterelle places. The house has a large porch and nice plot that extends around the house and into the Värmland forest. A short bike ride away you will find a grocery store, pizza place and gas station (about 3 km). If you want to experience the Värmland idyll and mysterious forests, you found the right place.

Dream house near the lake with its own Jacuzzi

This newly built unique accommodation, my home, is located in the heart of Värmland. Fantastic views of Lake Glafsfjorden with sunsets that are irresistibly beautiful. Large wooden deck with its own Jacuzzi. Just a few hundred meters to the lake. Cows and calves are in the pasture that you have to go through to get down to the lake. The beach is rocky. I have an older rowboat by the lake that you can use freely. The boat is a little worn but works. Good fishing.

The apartment is located in Lorensberg, a calm and friendly neighbourhood with walking distance to both the city centre and campus, and is perfect for the busy tourist as well as a new student at the booming Karlstad University. The house used to be home to multiple families, and so the apartment comes fully equiped with a kitchen as well as a private bathroom and is closed off from the rest of the house with it’s own entrance. No smoking.

Quiet, cosy cottage in central Säffle

We have a little cottage in our garden, situated near the centre of the town Säffle. There are two beds, a kitchen with refrigerator, sink, two stove plates and microwave if you want to cook on your own, and newly rebuilt bathroom with shower. See pictures. The surroundings are nice, close to shopping and strolling along the river Byälven. You find lake Vänern in 6km distance, where you summertime can take a bath.
