We had such a lovely stay, from the moment we arrived until we left. The house is spacious, very tasteful, cosy, and peaceful. It was just what we needed. I would recommend staying here to a friend and I would love to return at some point. The house came with everything we needed for our stay, including a generous welcome package with food, drink, a map, a list of local spots, and things we could do in the Lake District and Yorkshire dales. It was an all around perfect weekend! :)

We have just returned from a 10 night stay in the little house on Main and it just perfect. Centrally located just off the main street in Sedbergh you have everything you need right on the doorstep. From breathtaking walks in the surrounding area to fantastic local produce, this house is local to it all. Sedbergh is easily accessible from the M6 northbound (within 20 mins) and you have Kendal and the Lakes within striking distance. The house itself is gorgeous, beautifully appointed with a great balance of homeliness and chic. All appliances are new and easy to use. The beds are super comfy. Communications with the hosts was effortless. They were responsive and informative. I really wouldnt hesistate to recommend a stay here again : )

Clearly a lot of thought has been put into the cottage. Jane really has thought of everything. The wine and biscuits on arrival was a nice touch. The cottage is set off the main road and is unbelievably quiet. It was lovely watching the lambs in the field at the back. There are plenty of walks right on the doorstep. We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Black Bull. Do check your bill though! We cannot wait to return to Pippin Cottage.

This Airbnb is wonderful and we would definitely stay again. The location is perfect - within close walking distance to the pubs and restaurants of downtown Sedbergh, yet in a quiet, peaceful spot on the edge of town right on a great walking path. It's also a good location in the sense that it's close enough to the Lake District to use as a base for exploring that area, as well as being in the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The house is clean, well-equipped, and the photos are accurate. It's a very nice place with no real negatives to mention.

A lovely converted barn cottage in the Yorkshire Dales - we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was furnished to a high standard with a well appointed kitchen and two great en-suite shower rooms. Our dog loved running round the fully enclosed garden and we loved the real log fire which made the place extremely cosy. Would definitely recommend Denise’s property.

Wuthering Heights - in the heart of Sedbergh

Excellent accommodation right in the centre of Sedbergh which is a fantastic location for all sorts of activities from walking, history research, bookshop browsing and craftwork hunting. The inns/restaurants nearby are first class. The property has all the facilities needed including comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a comfortable area to relax after a day out and about. Free parking within 100 yards thanks to the provided permit and the car park are charging points for 2 EVs. A great short break and we will certainly use Wuthering Heights again next time we are in the area.
