My stay at Ellerslie Lodge Annexe was absolutely lovely. Nestled on the gentle slopes of Portsdown Hill, the annexe strikes the perfect balance between a peaceful countryside escape and proximity to amenities . From the moment I arrived, I appreciated the private entrance and free on-site parking, which made checking in and out seamless. The space itself was impeccably cleaned and thoughtfully appointed—comfortable, private, and ideal for both relaxation and productivity. Whether you're winding down after a long day or setting up a workspace, the annexe delivers on all counts . Communication with the host was smooth and professional. Check-in instructions were clear, and I felt well-supported without feeling intruded upon—exactly what you want in a self-check-in setup. This property rates more than 5 stars! Self-contained, well-equipped, every detail attended to, lots of welcoming touches like milk, bread, fruit ... we even found a bag of frozen chips in the freezer. This really is an exceptional property and I would love to visit again, in fact I would arrange a holiday just to stay here. It is excellent value for money when so many owners are quite frankly ripping guests off. But cost aside, for a self contained property you will simply not do any better. It was a little way from the area we were visiting, but that did not matter. It was a pleasure to leave from and come back to. If you are a reader there is a great selection of books and watching birds in the garden is a delight. Does this sound a bit "gushy" .. maybe , but that's not me! I am genuinely pleased to have stayed here and would love to return.

My family enjoyed this beautiful Seaview home! The property is absolutely peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of bedrooms and space in the house. We enjoyed breakfast every morning at the nook with a view of the sea! My daughter loved the tree swings and tucked away tree house among the gardens. The beach walkway is perfect to walk along the waterfront and access to close restaurants. The location is close to the local bus stop, which we used as our main transportation around the island. James was always so responsive and very helpful to provide information leading up to our stay. He had a baby cot ready to go for our stay and the house was kid friendly with bins of toys and children's books. Wishing we could make this our summer home, as it is a special place. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We stay in Portsmouth a lot but this was the first time we used an Airbnb What an amazing find The house was amazing clean tidy all modern Decoration was very nice through out . Clean the bathroom was old but still kept very clean I would recommend to any of my friends and family We will definitely use this property again A great stay Thank you 🤩

Great apartment they even offered me a up grade but stayed with my original booking. Did not know how to get the heating on within 5 minutes it was sorted perfect stay perfect hosts Even milk and bread left for us Perfect guys CHEERS

Fantastic stay! The location is perfect, with an easy 10 min walk to everything we wanted to see/do. Restaurants & pubs are nearby, too. If we are visiting Portsmouth/IOW again, we’ll definitely stay here again, but choose a lower floor. The penthouse was a lot of stairs and coming in from Heathrow with five pieces of checked luggage was not ideal.

We had a great week at Carolines. It was the perfect position for visiting family and Cowes. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the kitchen compact but lacked nothing, the bathroom was small but easily managed. The room was full of interesting memorabilia and the bedroom airy and comfortable. All in all a great value for money stay, and would definitely return

We had a great stay at Belmont View in August. The whole place was spotless on arrival and was perfect location to get into town. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything and more which is always helpful. Communication was very quick and we were also lucky enough to meet joeseph whom was very lovely. Thankyou so much for letting us stay.

Friendly and responsive hosts , helpful information prior to arrival. Fabulous accommodation, bright, spacious and maintained to an excellent standard with plenty of attention to detail. Quality fixtures and fittings, comfy beds and bedding. Fantastic views from bedrooms and lounge, enjoyed morning coffee from the Nespresso with a view from bed! Nice thought providing welcome treats too. Walking distance to good cafes and restaurants, easy access to beaches and coastal path. Would definitely stay here again. Central yet very quiet.

This property and the host Charles were absolutely outstanding. Frankly the photos do not do it justice. It was absolutely perfect. We’ve stayed in a number of coastal properties similar to this. This is by far away the best. We could not recommend it more highly.

We were fortunate to stay in both flats at The Priory due to family circumstances and the flexibility and kindness of Andrew and Vicky. 1 bedroom flat was perfect for a couple, lovely sea views with a sunny balcony. Well equipped with everything you need and very clean. 2 bedroom flat was very spacious and again lovely views, cleanliness and very well equipped with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the sea. We also used the gardens in the evening, sat in the sunshine with a G&T! Perfect. Both flats are in a great quiet location but only a 5-10 min walk to the old village and beach front. Thank you to Andrew and Vicky for making our stay comfortable and accommodating our needs. We will be booking again in the future.

A truly wonderful place to stay. Very unique with beautiful antique period furniture. Very peaceful and a lovely garden with outstanding views. Harry was very promt to reply to messages. He greeted us and showed us around then checked we were ok the following day. The property is very close to the town and transport links. Onsite parking was an added bonus.

A fabulous place! I stayed with my wife and two children (4 and 2) and couldn’t recommend it more. The accommodation was perfect, it’s private, quiet, clean and has everything you need. A well organised pool house, with a kitchen and clean amenities you need. The pool and hot tub was a great addition that the children loved. The house is set in a quiet residential area that was perfect for exploring Winchester and Paultons/Peppa Pig World. Stephanie and her husband were attentive, polite and communicative if we needed anything. Made the 3 nights stay very easy, enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay, the access to the sister hotel’s facilities including indoor and outdoor pools was fabulous and it was very well situated between the beach and the high street right next to the beautiful chine. Loved the Isle with its beautiful botanical gardens, beaches and dinosaur fossils to explore!

What a lovely place and lovely hosts. The bed was so comfortable we slept more than usual, unless it was the lovely relaxing hot tub that tired us. The welcome food and treats and wine was very generous and very welcome. It was a very quiet and relaxing area. We stayed for 6 nights and would highly recommended

It is pretty expensive as stays go but is a great location right by the beach, plus it was half term. The flat was clean and really well presented and v spacious! There was an issue with the sky/tv when we arrived and it was sorted really quickly and Jonathan was v helpful. We had a lovely couple of days.

Lee and Karen were great hosts. So friendly and made us both feel right at home! I stayed there with my best friend for the Bournemouth festival and We couldn’t recommend them enough, the annex was lovely and clean we felt really cosy and had everything we needed. They were very helpful with taxi services and things to do/places to go ect and couldn’t thank them enough! Had a great weekend Thankyou again and we will be back!
