We really enjoyed our stay at Carol's B&B. Beautiful and comfortable accommodation and warm and welcoming hosts. The breakfast was delicious.

Deze locatie is echt een droom. Niet alleen zijn Carol en haar man ongelofelijk vriendelijk, ze staan open voor vragen en geven heel leuke tips! De kamer zelf was prachtig. Een mooie badkamer, een goed en groot bed en dat alles super proper met prachtig uitzicht. Het ontbijt was daarnaast ook super lekker, er was veel keuze en de porties waren zeer goed. We kunnen niet anders dan deze locatie aanraden, wij zijn ongelofelijke fan. Een plek die vakantie en rust uitstraalt!

This place is a true gem, a country house in the old style, lived-in but immaculately maintained, set in idyllic peaceful grounds with a (swimmable) river running through them — trout rising, rhododendrons and ducks and hens and even a heron... All that was needed for perfection was the perfect hostess, and Fiona delivered on that score, with a warm welcome, pots of tea and coffee at key moments, delicious home-made breakfast and general willingness to help with everything I needed. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is a beautiful place to spend some time while in Scotland. Claire, Bruce (and Penny the dog) were warm and friendly hosts. The house was cozy and clean and the surroundings absolutely stunning. Easy to navigate even if you don’t have a rental vehicle, as taxis are readily available with knowledgeable drivers (and Claire and Bruce are happy to accommodate pick up and drops offs - even in the early morning if that’s what’s needed!). I’d definitely recommend this stay to any traveller looking for a peaceful rural experience.

Gordon is a fabulous host and was very helpful and friendly during my stay. Very accommodating and and kind. Lovely person to get along with and also give your own space too. A beautiful breakfast spread was also provided which was very nice

What can I say about Rose and Jake except absolutely amazing. Great hosts. Super responsive. The place was spotless. I miss lil Millie already. What a hidden gem. Rose and Jake’s will always be a home base in Scotland. Fantastic find.

Peaceful private location, easy to find following Marks instructions. Beautiful house & decor. Very tasteful, it’s obvious this is a well loved home. Spotless, no tv in the bedroom is absolute bliss for me, lots of books available for guests. I found the location perfect to discover more about the history of the Border Reivers. Will certainly be booking again

Located in peaceful area with amazing view to Arthur`s Seat, so its a must do hike while u stay at Duncan`s :)! Supermarket 1k walk, few restorans close by, good bus connection to center. Room was spacious and clean, comfy bed. Bathroom in the room, but needs some renovating. For sure best part of the stay was fulsome breakfast that we didnt know, was part of the price -amazing!

Absolutely charming hosts Stephanie & Ned made me feel at home despite last minute change (when my wife couldn’t join me) Their B&B is so lovely and comfortable. It’s quiet and the view from the bedroom window overlooking the village green is enchanting. Breakfast both days was delicious and generous. Can’t wait to have another excuse to stay here again (next time with my wife!)

Logement idéalement situé proche d'un arrêt de tram pour rejoindre le centre de Édimbourg en 15 min et facile d accès également depuis l'aéroport. Quartier paisible. Accueil sympathique par Serghei qui nous a expliqué clairement le fonctionnement du Airbnb. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Lele. La chambre est propre ainsi que la salle de bain. Petit détail gourmand à l'arrivée qui fait toujours plaisir 😉

Our stay at the Gables was one of our best Airbnb experiences, the room was exceptionally clean, the house and the hosts were very welcoming. The house and the location were extremely peaceful and relaxing. Angus and Claire are great hosts, very friendly and attentive to detail in all aspects. We really enjoyed our stay and would most certainly visit again if we are back in the area.

Estive com minha esposa na casa de Lucy e Antony e adoramos. O lugar é maravilhoso, de epoca, muito bem cuidado e nos sentimos em casa. Lucy preparou o jantar e o cafe da manha para nos q estava muito bom ! A regiao é maravilhosa e o Antony nos mostrou a casa e vimos q o lugar é incrível. Jogamos eu e ele uma partida de tenis pela manha o que foi muito prazeroso!! Voltaremos um dia com certeza!!

This place was very beautiful, elegant, extremely clean. We loved the view and the nature walk on the property. The host was lovely and very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Nous avons été parfaitement accueilli, on tient à remercier chaleureusement nos hôtes. De beaux échanges comme on les aime. Le logement est top, super quartier à 15 min de l aéroport... vraiment un excellent choix de venir ici. Nous recommandons très fortement ce logement et un grand merci pour votre hospitalité

Lovely spot directly opposite a skatepark park which was why i booked it to be honest. It’s not technically a private space. But it feels like one. I was very happy to come and go as i pleased. Breakfast supplies were great! Only thing id say is the shower/bathroom isn’t ideal for any large people. But yeah loved my time here.

We had a amazing stay with Annabel and had a lovely breakfast in the morning. She was really nice and friendly and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend her place!

We couldn’t have been made more welcome. Our two dogs were treated like Pat’s own and she even had them both in with her whilst we went out to dinner. Her home is lovely and you truly do get half a house! Bedrooms are beautifully themed and couldn’t be more comfortable. My husband had a full English in the morning and raced about, fresh, hot plate, everything you needed. Proper Yorkshire Tea too! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others. Thank you and it was worth every penny. Oh and the views - well, boon and you’ll see for yourselves!

We stayed here with our two dogs to break the journey on our return home from Scotland. Patricia was so kind and friendly and a true dog lover. The garden was safe and enclosed so our dogs could have a good run around. The annex was super clean, very spacious and we had a lovely breakfast before setting off. I highly recommend Patricia's B&B.

We had a the lovely few days at Carol's house; the bedroom and bathroom were lovely and very comfortable and beautifully clean. Carol cooked us a delicious breakfast each day, and was very accommodating with providing an early breakfast for my husband when he had to leave early the first morning and then cooking me breakfast later. The area is beautiful, and we would love to return to see more of it. Finally, Carol & her husband were very friendly and made us feel very at home. We would highly recommend!

Great village pub with a shop, great beer and beautifully cooked lamb & duck dishes in the evening. The accommodation was tucked away and felt private and we woke to birdsong and sunshine in the morning.
