We had a brilliant stay at this accommodation! Tranquil setting with good views of the Loch and opposite hills! The cooking facilities were very good and we were able to walk into Ullapool within 40mins which was useful! Ruth was a great host and we would definitely stay again.

Stunning hideaway overlooking Glasgow/Edinburgh

KatyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Stunning, comfortable, beyond friendly! We felt like we were part of the family. Our children felt so happy, it was a great experience! Staying longer would have been the only improvement!! Peter was so welcoming and meeting Kimmy was cherry on top. We felt an immediate connection to them! As we pulled off after a long goodbye both girls had tears in their eyes. It is exactly what we needed! Relaxation, connection to the locals and wonderful memories!

Bracadale Views, Skye: self-contained 'WOW' VIEWS!

LauraRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Ohhhhh my goodness, what an excellent stay we had at Colin and Rachel's guest suite! It's such a lovely and cozy space, but best of all are two things: The amazing view and the special hosts. From the suite, you have absolutely epic views of the sea and the cliffs beyond. Absolutely jaw dropping. The suite is comfortably furnished, has excellent closet space, and the bed is comfy. Due to the location, it's not difficult to access most of the entire Island of Skye by car. Fairy Pools is very close. In terms of our hosts, we were amazed by their generosity in providing such nice welcome gifts. We did not get to meet Rachel, but Colin is a warm and kind individual who is fantastic to have a chat with. He was so kind as to let us accompany him in feeding the sheep one morning which we greatly enjoyed! I would, without hesitation, recommend Rachel and Colin's place for a Skye holiday.

The Hayloft - in the Trossachs

AllisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at The Hayloft was the perfect place to end our travels to Scotland. I only wish we could have spent more time there. Upon arrival, there was homemade Shortbread that was second to none! Unfortnately, no other shortbread will ever taste that good after being spoiled by Dorothy's family recipe. The space was beautifully decorated with her original artwork and has two bedrooms, a workable kitchen, living room with a multitude of books and dvds. The bathroom was lined with mystical wall panels of iridescent stars. My personal favorite was the deep and long bathtub for long hour soaks after a tiring but fun filled day. The backyard is beautiful and serene. Great place to read or for birdwatching. Plenty of local hiking or biking activities with many not needing a car to get there. The hospitality Dorothy gave us was top notch as she even loaned us a cooler along with ice packs for our Puffin excursion. The Hayloft is worthy of being the only destination for holiday!

Lovely Guest Suite in Central Edinburgh

DonnaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I travel extensively and have used Airbnb throughout the world. Veronique's place in Edinburgh is hands down one of the best apartments I've stayed in. I like to prepare my own food when traveling: her kitchen was exceptionally appointed with plenty of pots and pans, implements and cups and glasses. The lounge was spacious and sunny, and the bed very comfortable. Best of all: close to everything and yet absolutely quiet at night. Perfect.

Mid-century vibe garden studio in Suburbs

TerraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved the place. Great little place so so cute. Very receptive to questions we had. They left us a bottle of prosecco with glasses, we didn’t have time to enjoy, but it was a wonderful thought. Left little breakfast for us in the mini fridge as well to get us started for the first day. We loved Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend this location your next stay. Thanks again Linsey and John Terra & Ian

Wee Darroch - Luxury Apartment near Loch Ness

SanamRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Melanie’s beautiful apartment! The place was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and had every amenity we could possibly need. The kitchen was especially lovely — well-equipped and perfect for cooking during our stay. One of the highlights was the view from the bedroom — absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. The location was great too: just 15–20 minutes from the Loch Ness viewing point, and with a Tesco and Asda just a few minutes away, everything was super convenient. The bathroom was clean with excellent water pressure, which is always a bonus. Melanie was an amazing host — very prompt and responsive. She provided clear directions that made the apartment easy to find, and kindly accommodated us with a late check-out. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Dog friendly cottage in a Northumbrian village

SandyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The large garden at the front and the field at the back soaked up any noise. You could be in the middle of nowhere, when in reality you were seconds away from the main road. Diane and her husband were wonderful and welcoming. But they also left us alone to get on with our holiday, with the knowledge we could knock on their door if needed. The cottage was super clean. The beds very comfortable. Every comfort catered for. The only downside, if you can call it that, was that we had to drive everywhere for food and drink, but that’s a minor detail in the grand scheme of things. We wanted a quiet holiday and that’s just what we got. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. Very convenient for going up or down the coast to other towns and beaches. We loved staying here.

Wonderful place and hosts! The area offers a great environment, especially for a small family. It is peaceful yet located within short walking distance of vibrant cafes, restaurants and large parks. The suit itself is well-organized and decorated and spacious. It is equipped with everything we needed and more (it was even particularly adapted by the hosts to fit our little boy). The owners are very friendly, responds really well to any communication and provides you with their own favourite gems in the area. We would definitely want to come back soon.

This is a gem of a spot. Close to everything. Very walkable. Lots of cute bars/ aperitivo spots right around the corner. Had lots of charm and the coffee was a nice surprise for early mornings. Normally I’d not stay in a basement but the decor, lots of lighting made it bright, cheery and cozy.

Bright and Modern Studio in a Stunning Location!!

BrynnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had the absolute best time staying @ this bnb! It was my first time ever staying at an Airbnb AND ever being out of America. Both hosts were so so so kind, informative, flexible and even invited me over for coffee one morning (which i had to politely decline because I was so sleepy still being on American time lol). Either way 10/10 and if you have the opportunity to stay don’t hesitate to book!

This place is a true gem! Keith and Tess welcomed my family of four with fierce hospitality, homemade baked goods, and a spotless, well-equipped, easy-to-navigate, and cozy guest house. They even surprised us with a cake for a milestone birthday. We appreciated the recycling bins, laundry, and views of the Skye bridge. They were accessible, but not intrusive, super hosts indeed!

Top floor apartment with stunning sea views

Peter DavidRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This property is surrounded by spectacular views, which could be seen from the windows. Tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and great thought had gone into providing a really useful welcome pack. The bed and linen were very comfortable and very luxurious towels were provided too! The kitchen was really clean and very useful if you don't want to go out again after a long journey. Susan was very welcoming and encouraged us to make contact if we needed anything, but otherwise than this the flat was independent to her part of the property. Thank you Susan for a really comfortable stay!
