Hi Kay, thank you very much. We felt very comfortable. For us, the location was perfect, as we were in the countryside with our two dogs relatively quickly. What we liked, for example, was the very good kitchen amenities, the spacious layout, everything looked new and that you live right next door and thus could help us very quickly with the challenges. We would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for something quiet and wanting to feel at home. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely want to use this apartment again. The 10-day stay with Karin was very pleasant. The apartment has everything you need, is very clean and very quiet. And yes, I saw the deer too. I came by train, and Karin picked me up at the station. Although the house is a bit remote, I could reach everything well on foot, about 15 min. to Schloss Gottorf, 20, 25 min. to the train station, about 20 min. to the nearest grocery store, about 15 min. to the nearest bus stop. A little further away are the city center and the city harbor. Unfortunately, the only local bike rental was just closed, but there is bike sharing, the nearest station at Schloss Gottorf. So I could also get to the city center easily by bus or bicycle. Karin is very helpful and responds promptly to messages. Should I come to Schleswig again, I will be happy to rent the apartment again.

We felt incredibly comfortable from day 1. It's exactly as shown in the pictures. Optimal location to visit Haithabu, Schleswig or the sea. Everything is very quickly accessible by car. The place has everything you need. It was a great short trip and many thanks also to the dear neighbor Ulla, who showed us everything on site. JUST A BIG THANK YOU! Best regards,
