Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Schroon Lake

The Yay Frame lived right up to its name. My only regret was not being able to there sooner to spend more time in this oasis. From the hot tub, to the hooting owls, from the sauna to the arcade room with its arsenal of amazing books and games, this is a place I will rebook and consider every time I’m in the area. I would love to experience this home in the winter under a blanket of snow and after a day on the slopes. Shane is an excellent host. I left an item behind and he went above and beyond to make sure I could easily pick it up on my way back thru town.

Audrey’s Porcupine Farm Barn was the perfect place for us and our pup to get some respite from our day to day grind. With scenic vistas outside our window the space was an ideal blend of rustic and comfortable, and Audrey was around to answer any questions and assist us whenever we needed. We would absolutely stay again - and hopefully will soon!

I'm always happy when a place looks like the pictures, but this apartment was even better. It was more spacious than it looked in the pictures, and everything was perfect - spotlessly clean and ready for us to move in for our short 2-night stay. We arrived earlier than check in and were able to get in early, which was SO nice - we were on bikes and it was raining. It's always nice to "land" at the end of a long day on the bike, so getting in early was really appreciated. The apartment also has lots of nice touches that clearly have guests in mind - hooks in the bathroom, living room and bedroom for coats and towels, etc., detergent to do laundry, a table to play games (nice on a rainy day!), televisions in both the living room and bedroom, great dishes and silverware, lamps with plug openings for all our charging needs. It's hard to overstate the case - this apartment was super!

We will definitely be coming back next year for the art festival and would love to stay there as we did this year very convenient location, super clean and really well stocked attention to detail

Ideal, beautiful location for visiting Middlebury and this gorgeous region of Vermont. The setting by the river is stunning and soothing. The unit is very comfortable and has everything you need. The host is gracious and welcoming. We feel so fortunate to have found this lovely location!

Loved staying here. Apartment was great, comfortable and clean and spacious. Andrew and Kate were great hosts, letting us use the playset outside with our toddler. Porch view was wonderful, looking out towards some hills and over a field that had various critters all day and fireflies at night!

The Yellow Door Inn was exactly what I needed for my little getaway from the craziness of my life!! You are surrounded by art, and comfort that is difficult to find. I felt at peace the moment I arrived and my doggos also loved the large yard and access to the Salem Art Works!! Klara and Greg are great hosts, they responded very quickly and were so so kind to me during my stay. If you are staying in Salem, I would 1000% recommend the Yellow Door Inn. You will not regret it! I know I will most definitely be back next time I stay in the area. It was hard for me to leave and head back home, because I felt I was already home…

We had a great weekend staying at Tyler's. He is a responsive host, and the home feels newly renovated and has everything you need.

The easiest 5 stars I've ever given! It's my family's 5th year coming to the Stone Lodge and it's our favorite trip of the year. From the bald eagles nesting across the lake from you, and the private sandy beach, to the fire pits at night, and the kayaks out on the lake, it's just the perfect spot. Amazing hosts too! Cannot wait to return again for a 6th time to make even more memories.

Loved the area and the proximity to Lake George Village. Nice living space with a nice view.

We have been coming to Lake Placid for 15 years and this was by far the best house we’ve ever stayed in. Jonathan has thought of everything. There was no amenity we thought was missing. The house was immaculate. The property is beautiful and spacious; we had no issue accommodating 7 adults. Next time we come back to Lake Placid we will definitely be reserving this house again.

Host response time was exceptional, Directions and local tips excellent. The house was CLEAN. We stayed in winter surrounded by over three feet of snow so there wasn’t too much opportunity to adventure out on the property, but the views from within the warmth of the house were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked, everything placed thoughtfully and convenient. Kids loved the game room. We brought a Roku and enjoyed family movies while wood burning stove toasted the rooms. Bedrooms large and comfortable. The drive was plowed and easily managed despite all the snow. Only 17 minutes from Gore Mountain, we felt happily lost in the deep Adirondacks. Would recommend and come back. Thanks Alex and Suzette!

This is a wonderful house for a skiing or winter vacation, which is why we have been coming back for several years. The house has all the conveniences you need for a winter holiday, and Gore Mountain is just 30 minutes away. Margaret and Tony went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and could make the most of our stay.

The flat was very clean and easy to find. Amy was very responsive and sent us a curated list of recommendations. We also loved the sauna, perfect for rainy days.

The place was so cozy and clean - just perfect - I had a great stay and would definitely book again!

Gary's place had everything we needed for our ski vacation in Lake Placid! The location is very convenient and the view towards the mountain is beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay and will happily return.

An absolute dream! This experience was top notch from the moment I clicked on the listing. Responsive host, clear directions, timely reminders and updates...the list goes on and on. And the space itself was even better than the pictures. The location was quiet and walking distance to the lake. The home was spacious and well laid out...and spotless clean from top to bottom. Every room was perfectly appointed with all the little, but important, things that you need to feel at home. My family and I are already talking about another trip!

Nicest bnb we have stayed at in placid! We had the grounds to ourselves and enjoyed sitting by the lake the first night before it rained the rest of the weekend. The place was cozy and the fireplace was nice for the rainy days. I appreciated the snacks and drinks in the room too!

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Kathy's! The place was very clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well stocked, and all linens were fresh. The location was very convenient to all that Lake Placid has to offer but also removed just enough to have some quiet time away from the bustle of all the shops. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lake Placid in the future. I highly recommend!

This spot was so much bigger than we expected! It had everything we needed and it was soooo cozy! The walk to Lisa G’s was so short - it was amazing. The basement was awesome since we had kids and they had their own area to hang and everything was so quiet - we couldn’t hear each other or them through the walls or on different floors. It was very comfy, large, and the location was perfect!

Great experience, loved cross country skiing so conveniently located out the door.
