Cabin vacation rentals in Schroon Lake

We’ve been coming to Schroon for 18 years, so have a lot of experience with cabin rentals in the area. The outdoor space at Sally’s is stunning, with sunsets that never got old! Though the property is just off the road, it was quiet and very private, as the front of the cabin and outdoor space face the pristine shoreline. The cabin is rustic and cozy in all the good ways, & the beds are so, SO comfortable! We cooked most of our meals in, which made it nice to have such a beautiful view from the kitchen window. The Adirondack Store is within walking/biking distance, which made it fun to dine in for breakfast before heading out for a day of hiking/mountain biking/fishing/ADK Extreme/exploring. Whatever our daytime activities were, we made sure to back at the cabin to cook, take an evening swim & view the gorgeous sunsets. There were a few household mishaps beyond our host’s control, but she maintained good communication, promptly addressing the issues. We hope to stay here again!

Once again, we had an amazingly peaceful and relaxing time at our favorite air bnb. We love everything about Isobel's place, the beautiful surroundings, the sauna and of course the hot tub. There were so many birds to watch, too, including Indigo Buntings and Baltimore Orioles! It's a perfect getaway. We can't wait to come back in the fall.

The cabin was one of the best places that we’ve stayed at through Airbnb! It had everything that you would want and the location was fantastic. It is a 10 minute drive to Manchester, a really cute town, and very close to many hiking options. The completely fenced in yard was great for our dog. We loved our stay here!

Great place! This home is cozy and very nice in a lovely setting. The gazebo and deck are fantastic, and the hot tub was a hit. Great amenities! The home itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Gabriel had great communication and was very accommodating to our family. The basement made for the perfect retreat for the kiddos, complete with a train table. Excellent stay and hospitality all around! Thank you!

Perfect stay. The cabin looked exactly as it did in photos and from the moment we opened the door we were in awe of the cute decor and space. Literally perfect for our needs. Very quiet and peaceful. Lindsay and John were very proactive in their communication, and their guide had everything. We used it and referenced it during our stay. Very helpful. We’ll be back!

My wife and I decided to stay here for our honeymoon and had a great time! It’s very beautiful and peaceful around the property and really made for a great stay! Would definitely recommend!

This was a lovely Adirondack cabin getaway. very private and peaceful surroundings, and its just close enough (~15/20 min) to town and 25 min to Lake George. The home was clean and cozy with a fun basement full of activities and an amazing hot tub!! Uzma and Billy were very responsive throughout our visit. I'd definitely stay here again.

I had such a peaceful stay at this incredibly charming spot. I brought my dog, Clover, and we spent nearly every moment on the deck, soaking up the view of the lake and watching the birds. The setting was serene, quiet, and just what I needed to reset. The home itself was cozy and full of character, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. I’m so grateful for the care that went into this place, it truly felt like a little lakeside retreat. We can’t wait to come back!

My friends and I LOVED staying here. It was a little tricky to find, as there were no instructions regarding the suspension bridge you need to cross to find the house. The water from the tap definitely smelled a little funny which wasn't that big of an issue and we decided to get more water from the store for washing hands and such. Other than that we had a great time. There were so many sleeping options, so everybody got their own bed. Also the huge CD selection was a giant win for the weekend. The overall vibe was incredible. We loved the decor. We would book again!!!

I only have great things to say about Christina’s place. The place was even better than the photos. As soon as I walked in, I remarked how cute it was. Christina communicated with me proactively and gave me a personal tour. She responded very promptly to communication and was lovely to talk to. Her place is serene and beautiful. I noticed a lot of thoughtful touches everywhere, including how the shower stall was built. (I 100% agree the shower head is amazing.) I enjoyed sitting by the brook and taking it all in. I was fortunate to have had the place to myself, but I cannot imagine there being any issues with another person or two there. Christina’s place was central to a lot of things I wanted to do in the area. I went on hikes and enjoyed delicious food. I would love to return this year.

This place is such a hidden gem! Amazing fireplace/patio area, homey wooden cabin feeling, great food areas around and super private/quiet! We felt right at home!

My boyfriend and our dogs absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin and would love to come back. It is walking distance to the small town with grocery store, great food, and of course the beautiful lake. Everything about this place is peaceful, serene, and the perfect relaxation escape. The interior of the cabin was spotless, charmingly decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. The interior decor was cozy and made us feel at home. We were very comfortable staying in such a well maintained, clean house. The bed was more comfortable than mine, the kitchen had everything we needed, and it was roomy with the four of us. There were extra towels (even dog towels), chargers, shower stuff - really anything you could’ve forgotten the host had available. Tony was incredibly responsive and provided a packet with great local tips: activities, restaurants, etc, everything you need to know for every season. I highly recommend staying here during your travels. Loved it so much!

We had a wonderful stay — the house was quiet, peaceful and on a beautiful property. Everything was comfortable and we felt right at home. Very short drive to downtown Bolton Landing or the Lake George area and tons of great hikes only minutes away. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Beautiful cabin and great amenities. The wood burning stove was our favorite part along with the wood furnishings. A lot of great things to do and the hosts were so kind and friendly. Definitely a great place to book (just keep in mind the nearest restaurants are about 30 minutes away but the cabin has a well equipped kitchen for baking and cooking plus smores!). thank you for a wonderful time.

Ali had great communication very accurate and a beautiful log cabin... great location... it was great... we recommended a group maybe 2 professional families with a few kids would be great... we had Ali's entire house ... and it was just my wife and I.. Overall great space. Very peaceful neighborhood, and the house was well kept and clean, including the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Clear check-in instructions, and Shawn responded to any questions I had. I would definitely come back!

It was just the perfect weekend getaway at the perfect cabin. Everything from the peaceful surroundings, the view, the inside of the cabin, the glamping bedroom was exactly, if not better than pictured on the listing. It truly exceeded our expectations. The inside of the cabin has absolutely everything you need. We had an amazing time and will most certainly be back. Thank you Lisa!

It is well off the beaten pass and secluded, but if you’re seeking quiet and surreal, this is the place

5/5 stay. Molly was so communicative since the beginning and provided information on nearby attractions. The cabin was beautiful and clean, and what I loved the most: the kitchen has EVERYTHING we needed to cook, bake & grill. Being able to BBQ on the patio was nice as well. The wood burning stove kept us warm and added a nice vibe to our stay. The location was secluded but 30-40 mins driving to many lakes/trails and shops, which we didn’t mind. There’s also a nearby supermarket which is convenient.

This place was so beautiful! We loved kayaking. It had everything we needed and more - a sharp knife in an airbnb is something we really appreciate!

This cabin was truly impeccable. The attention to detail was outstanding. If you’re into a cozy old-school cabin vibes you will not be disappointed! Incredibly clean and tidy. We appreciated all the time and theme appropriate details and decorations. Compared to many Airbnb’s the accommodations and accessories were way higher quality and more abundant. The fireplace was a real treat. Throughout our whole stay my friends and I were remarking on the quality of the place!

I’ve been going up to Brant lake for years with friends. I wanted my family to see my excitement and love for Brant lake. We booked the cutest cabin with Angie. We all felt right at home. Easy check-in. Angie was so responsive to all our questions quickly. The cabin is stocked, has a booklet filled of local things to do and local restaurant/stores recommendations, has kayaks and canoes for guests to use, has a great view of the lake and the details of the furniture and decor are amazing inside the cabin. We enjoyed our stay for the weekend here so much and we are already planning a week get away for next year. Highly recommend!
