Our yellow cottage is located in one of the most idyllic streets of Diest and within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, the market, the beguinage, the citadel, the swimming pool and recreational area the crescent. This old townhouse has recently been renovated modernly and is ideal for 2 couples or a family. The assets of this home are undoubtedly its location, the 2 city bikes and southwest oriented garden with seating area. From our house you left in no time for a nice hike or bike ride.

My house is located in the city center of Diest. It's located close by the railway station, the city center park for a quiet and relaxing time, the shops and restaurants. Also a couple of touristic attractions like the citadel, the recreation area (the halve maan) and the ancient walls are close by. The place is renovated, with a brand new bathroom, living area and has a well equipped kitchen. There's also a little garden Sleeping: there are two bedrooms for in total 4 persons. Welcome!

The last part of this hallway is also used by the owner to a limited extent. There is car parking, covered parking for moto/bikes. There is a large garden. Children can also enjoy themselves in our beautiful treehouse with sliding door, swing,... There is also a covered terrace with lounge set where you can relax.

Sometimes you discover a great place — and sometimes, the place finds you. Femke’s home was exactly what we needed. We spent a lovely long weekend there to celebrate my daughter’s 9th birthday with a trip to Bobbejaanland (just a short drive away!), and the stay made everything even more special. The house felt like home from the moment we arrived. The kids absolutely loved the upstairs play area, filled with toys and space to explore, while we enjoyed the cozy and well-equipped downstairs. Everything we needed was there. The garden was a real highlight — peaceful, full of giant trees, and perfect for children, with a slide and two swings that kept them entertained for hours. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you, Femke, for creating such a warm and welcoming.

Well equipped with everything Quiet location Good communication with Mai & Nico. Everything is easy to find in the house. Very neat. Blissful with the air conditioning Not expensive at all. You can also have breakfast delivered to your home for 25 p/p, unfortunately I had a bit of a time constraint for that, but I will make some more time for it next time.😀 I had booked an overnight stay because I was DJing at a wedding nearby. If I have to go back to the area, I'll book again with Mai & Nico right away. I hope they continue with their B&B for a long time Thank you Mai & Nico

We were looking for a place close to our family, and Bert’s place was just perfect. The place was very clean, including the towels and bed linens. The kitchen was well-equipped and practical. Bert was very kind and always ready to help if we needed anything. Check-in and check-out were completely hassle-free. The ventilation worked fine for the season, though I’m not sure how it would be on hotter summer days. We had a busy schedule, so didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful garden as much as we would have liked — but I did sneak in a peaceful yoga session on the lawn one morning. We’d definitely love to stay here again on our next visit!
