Apartment vacation rentals in Sarteano

It's located in the southern part of Tuscany, so it's a bit far from Florence, so I was a bit hesitant at first, but when I saw the photos of the accommodation, the facilities were so good that I made a reservation. Upon arrival, the resident staff kindly helped me check in and explained things. There was a separate parking lot, and I couldn't swim because of the season, but there was also a great outdoor swimming pool. The moment we opened the door to the room, we were in awe of the beautiful scenery of Tuscany that unfolded. Kianti wine was prepared as a welcome drink, and all the facilities were so great and perfect for the two couples to use. In the evening, I went to Castello di Fighine Rostorante, a nearby two-star Michelin restaurant. After about 15 minutes on a quiet, unpaved mountain road, there was a restaurant in a castle on a hill. Indeed, the food and service were so great as expected of a Michelin restaurant. In conclusion, it was a shame that I could only stay one day at this place, and I really wanted to come and stay comfortably next time.

Wonderful place to stay in Pienza. Gorgeous little town in the rolling hills of Tuscany. Host is fantastic too. We had an issue with the front door that they were very quick to fix for us. Would highly recommend if you are going thru Tuscany!

I can’t say enough about our hosts! They were communicative from start to finish and our experience would not have been the same without them. Our favorite part was doing the cooking class and having dinner with them and their family.

Staying at this apartment was truly magical. Every time I looked out the window or stepped onto the balcony, I was left in awe. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the town of Montepulciano was every bit as beautiful—charming, historic, and full of character. Leaving was the hardest part, and I’m already counting down the days until I can return. From the incredible local restaurants to the stunning wineries nestled in the Tuscan hills, every moment felt like a dream. Photos simply can’t capture the beauty—you have to experience it for yourself.

Lucio the host was very friendly, easy to communicate and accommodated all of our needs. He recommended us great places to eat, drink and points of interest to visit. If we ever needed anything, he was so quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who visits. Everything is walking distance. We had a great stay at Marcella's and her family's. The property is easy to find, and check-in was completely hassle-free. The accommodation is well located to plan a lot of excursions around it. The pool is unique in its location, fantastic at any time of the day! The apartment is cool, even when it's hot outside. All our questions were answered quickly, and there were plenty of good tips for the area! Absolutely recommended.

Great location! Centrally located near Piazza Grande. Steps away from shopping, restaurants, and incredible views of the countryside. Apartment was very comfortable. Perfect for a solo traveler. Updated bathroom and shower was great. Overall, the entire apartment was clean and well appointed. Elias was awesome. Incredibly responsive and helpful. Provided several recommendations of things to do within Montepulciano but also gave insights on other nearby towns. He texted me a few times during my stay to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. Very gracious. Overall great experience.

Absolutely recommended!! The house is in a beautiful small village with wonderful views of the surroundings, we only heard the bleating of the sheep in the distance! A quiet and peaceful corner, equipped with everything you need, a small food store and two restaurants a 2-minute walk from the house. Very convenient for visiting the entire Val d'Orcia, Siena, Arezzo…and enjoying the beauty of the area! How to be at home! Giuseppe was very helpful and flexible with our arrival time, welcomed us with advice and information, everything more than perfect!!!

We had an amazing stay at the Casetta with a gorgeous view which left us breathless. The house was exactly as in the photos, very clean and we had everything we needed. Paola was an excellent host, she gave us many recommandations on where to eat and what to visit. We cannot wait to come back to Tuscany and stay at Casetta again. Thank you, Paola and Pietro!

It was an indescribably beautiful time. Absolutely quiet location and a beautiful view over Tuscany. Lucia and her children were very pleasant and nice hosts who were always there to help. I highly recommend the place, nothing is missing there.

We really enjoyed our stay at this really unique accommodation. It is located in a medieval village, high on a hill. The apartment is compact, but has everything you need. The view from the balcony is fantastic. Malgorzata was a great host and very responsive when we had questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

A Comfortable and spacious appartment which had everything we needed. The garden was particularly pleasant for relaxing and al fresco dining.

Had a super 8 night stay here. Paola, the host, is everything you can hope for from an Airbnb host. Super communicative, welcoming and helpful. Her and her husband helped me with a medical issue, which was so kind and appreciated. Wow! Just wow! The apartment is quiet and I slept good at night. It has every amenity that I needed. It is clean and in a safe location. They really put love and attention into this place and it shows. Highly recommended.

Such a magicial place and a great host! Alex makes sure your feel at home right away. The personal welcoming, the great recommendations that made our stay so nice for a few days, the beautiful pool with absolutely gorgeous view!! Everything is so clean (also the pool and perfect temperature). You’ll see that Alex makes sure nothing gets left out. From The garden to the rooms and his wine vineyard. Best place we stayed in Tuscany. Also Montepulciano is gorgeous. Many restaurants and routes are magical.

After another Airbnb mishap, Gianluca was so accommodating to allow to book and check in late last minute. He even met us there personally to be sure we got in okay. He even had the fold out couch ready with linens and provided a few breakfast items. The place was better than we’d hoped, location was fantastic, updated and perfectly clean! We would absolutely stay here again. This place will be one of the highlights of our trip!

Our family loved staying in Fernanda’s apartment! My husband and I had visited Montepulciano two years ago, stayed at Fernanda’s place and loved it so much we came back with our three boys. Everything is so lovely and welcoming and Fernanda is the best hostess. She even made local dinner reservations for us. Thank you for everything, Fernanda!!

We had a fabulous stay here, there was more than enough rooms and space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The view from the living room is gorgeous, the rooms are all charmingly decorated and it had all the amenities we needed: separate beds for 4 adults, large enough showers, laundry and kitchen as well as cosy living room. Federico was very friendly, responsive and made us feel at home immediately. Highly recommend!
