High Standard , newly renovated studio situated within the finest walking area in the Lake District. The Stable and Undercroft each have a private front door, and internal locking doors through to the shared laundry area and information section off the linking corridor.
“Maria is a welcoming, friendly host who looked after us really well and The Stable is a lovely place to stay. Even though it's a studio it feels spacious enough and it was spotlessly clean, well-appointed and very comfortable for the two of us. The shower is amazing! The location is great for the pub down the road (Jennings Cumberland Ale and good food) and for numerous high and low level walks. Be aware that there is another apartment just next door (as mentioned in listing) and the family home overhead so there can be other people around. We had a great short stay and look forward to returning - there are plenty of hills in Wasdale left for us to climb!”

“The most relaxing and wonderful stay. We stayed at Dinah's to visit family. The cottage was so lovely and we had a fantastic night sleep. Super clean and cosy. Dinah is a fantastic host. Great location and right near a spar which is super handy. Thank you so much, we will be back x”

We are 1/4 mile from the village with its shops, pubs & restaurants. The cottage is next door to the Red Admiral Pub, 3 miles from Seascale train station and the beach. Paul & Lucy offer a warm friendly welcome, we provide free wi-fi and breakfast.
“I had a wonderful stay with Paul and Lucy. The room is lovely and spotlessly clean with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in! Tea and coffee and lots of little touches like hairdryer etc are provided in the room. Paul made a fresh loaf of bread for breakfast even though I was heading off at 6am! Paul and Lucy are fantastic hosts, really friendly and knowledgeable and generous. I hope to stay with them again. Location is beautiful and the room is great value. Highly recommended!”
