I stayed at this Airbnb for 89 nights. I absolutely, 100%, recommend it to anyone who is looking for any length stay, but particularly for long-term stays in a city that has everything you need, particularly as a digital nomad. The Internet/Wi-Fi is strong and reliable, the hot water is actually hot. It's within walking distance of multiple grocery stores and the center, and Mercado del Sur, there is an old-fashioned gym across the street, but there are multiple modern gyms nearby as well. Frequent buses make it easy to get to the main bus terminal, and the two shopping centers (small malls). There are lots of restaurants with a minute's walk of the apartment in any direction. The host and the co-host (who lives in the building) are absolutely the gold standard for Airbnb hosts. They are proactive, always responsive, and maintain both the building and the apartment in a professional and caring way. I am looking forward to getting back to Machala and hope to again stay here.

Tika exceeded all my expectations. The space is even more beautiful than the photos. Its wonderful gardens, the delicious pool and the very nice and comfortable suite. Everything created a perfect atmosphere during our stay. Maria del Rosario was an exceptional host, the best I've ever met. He made the stay even more special with his kindness. I will definitely come back here every time I visit Machala. 100% recommended!
