PLEASE NOTE: This is our family’s second home. We keep personal items here and everything within is very special to us. This is not a hotel. Looking to stay cozy indoors or explore outdoors? This is a great place for families to do both! Just a few mins away from Summerhaven. Road is steep, 4x4 & chains may be necessary in snow conditions. 4x4 recommend year round not required for skilled drivers. With good tires, low gear, and momentum most cars will make it . Don’t stop and spin tires on the hill try again. $20 per extra guest per night after 2 guest to make it affordable for smaller groups. *No parties *No fires *No smoke

Stairway to Heaven

Great cabin located in the heart of Mount Lemmon, with lots of shade. The cabin is walking distance to Summerheaven and a short distance to Ski Valley, great for a family of four, and has all the amenities you'll need for a great cabin stay. This cabin is not called “Stairway to Heaven” for nothing. From the north side of the cabin (road), it will take you 62steps to the entrance, and from the south side (private parking) it will take you 32 steps, easier to get to w/4x4 or all-wheel car.

West-side Trailhead Retreat in the Sonoran Desert

2017 guest house in Tucson Mountain foothills adjacent to Sweetwater Preserve (14+ mi.s of trails: mountain biking, horseback, running, & hiking)! Enjoy the giant soaking tub, BBQ grill, sunsets & patio. A full kitchen, sitting area, bath & BR are downstairs (550 sq. ft.). Up a 90-degree ladder to BR/retreat space, wonderful for getaway views. Our property is a 3-acre lot w/ desert flora/fauna, stars, & quietness, yet only 10 mi. from UA. Horses add to the ambiance with a taste of ranch life.

Nestled at the foot of stunning Red Butte, Thunderbird Suite is southwestern decor with antique furniture. Just outside the glass doors, is a desert landscape of Saguaros & other Sonoran natural desert cactus & trees. Thunderbird is an independent, private suite added onto the main house, with a wall separating it. There is laundry available just next to the private bath with shower & tub.
